The Amplifiers (TX) was a "Garage Rock" project started in early in 2007 and ending in 2013. The brainchild of the singer/songwriting duo of Chris Dottino on Bass/Vocals & Rene "The Animal" Sanchez Bass/Rhythm Guitar/Backing Vocals along with Joe Anthony "The Godfather" Morin Lead Guitar/Backing Vocals and Pedro Apolinar on Drums.

Things We Left Behind

This version of the track was recorded in the winter of 2008 at my home studio in La Vernia, TX. I played guitar and sang on the recording. I had never listened to this band before but when I was introduced to the song, I instantly fell in love with it. It's a cover of the Death Cab For Cutie song "I Will Follow You into the Dark" originally released August 30, 2005 from their album "Plans".
