Lithuanian-born, London-raised DJ/Producer, Tasman is a resident of Structure London and curator of the Structure Series radio show.

His love for techno began at a young age, collecting records and playing at after-parties for friends. Staying true to his roots, he has played at warehouse parties across the city, which quickly led him to perform at some of the capital's biggest clubs like FOLD and Fabric & Corsica Studios. 

Over the years, Tasman has refined his style, focusing on driving and rolling techno, drawing inspiration from both old and new school.

Concise in content, exemplary in refinement, Essentia, is strategically planting his roots within the underground techno community. The Scottish born, London based composer/ DJ and co-founder of Duplicity Records, has embedded his meticulous sound on some of techno’s most respected and historical imprints including, ARTS, Soma, and Illegal Alien. Each release being a statement of time and dedication to pushing his sonic vision. 

Gaining support from the masters of dance floor narration, Essentia’s early discography has been supported by the likes of DVS1, Rødhad, and James Ruskin and delivered to some of the most demanding parties including Berghain, De School and Radion. As an artist and performer, his unique output comes only from attention to detail, respect, and time immersed within the underground club culture.
