Latest Animal Farm Records signing and Portuguese techno maestro A Thousand Details drops episode 034 of the AFP. An astute producer working with a plethora of analog machines, ATD has been slowly grafting away on his craft and has forged a unique and dynamic sound via his own label and more recently our very own imprint. His AFR debut, Northern EP, shows ATD’s versatility as a producer with the tracks moving from deep and hypnotic to more raw, atmospheric techno. This mix once again typifies his dynamic musical ability.

With over a decade of musical experience, Acutek’s palate can be described as ethereal Techno with rough edges.

For AFP004 we welcome Helrad !! Born and bred in Naples, Helrad has been a lover of electronic music for over 20 years. Since moving to Scotland 3 years ago and starting to produce, he has been meticulously developing his sound. Taking influence from producers such at Slam, Silicone Soul and Joe Farr.

Since starting his label Helrad Limited over two years ago he has collaborated with Steve Still, Joe Farr, Stanislav Tolkachev and Hans Bouffmyhre. Helrad has been working on a forthcoming EP coming out on Joe Farr's label "User Experience" along with a track on Jamaica Suk's quadruple vinyl album which will be released later in the year along with some very familiar names.

24-year-old Glasgow emerging techno producer Katalysk has been a presence on the Scottish circuit for the past six years playing a host of reputable venues such as Club 69, La Belle Angele, Stereo, Biscuit Factory, La Cheetah and Flat o/1, along with a handful of undisclosed locations. Katalysk is in the process of developing his own sound which, like his playing style, is a coherent blend of tough and functional tracks that maintain hypnotic and rhythmic overtones.

Glasgow based b.mod drops his 2nd release on AFR with a gut buster of raw, hardware based Techno. Down To Us features three optimally produced, rough and ready originals and takes it up a notch with 2 killer remixes from Ike Dusk & E.L.I.A.S . 

b.mod has been on spirited form of late and this release sees him continue to forge his own sound through the medium of machines. Raw Uluz, Revolution & Shuttle don their own unique properties but remain with that singular tough, raw and hypnotic b.mod sound. 

With an already mighty discography, Ike Dusk drops a tripped out, stripped back and ominous version of Revolution. Rising star E.L.I.A.S completes the package in fine form as a crunching, tweekin’ rework of Shuttle closes the EP with some high energy.

2021 opens with the 50th release for Animal Farm Records in the form of Spanish born newcomer, Blanka. A serious talent, Blanka's tracks show a great depth to her production. Tough yet deep sound designer is a clear mark of this young producer's talent. Backed with a superbly crafted remix by rising star Yant, the Manchester born producer weaves his own unique take of the EP's title track.
