O som da Shugi é uma mistura alegre de techno, disco, música eletrônica, afro e house vocal. Seu plano mega secreto é contagiar o mundo com esse ritmo e fazer todo mundo se acabar de dançar. DJ residente na rádio Rinse France (@rinsefrance) e no Club Silencio em Paris (@silencio_club), também foge para Los Angeles para dar festas tipo "Missa" de vez em quando. E com ela não tem sets iguais. De festivais a clubes e eventos privados para marcas como Chloe, LVMH e Comme des Garcons, seu som é sempre pensado pra cada ocasião. Shugi também é cantora e compositora do Their Names, uma dupla de electro-pop com o produtor Max Future no comando. Algumas outras gigs incluem apresentações em Berlim, Lisboa, Porto, Estocolmo, Los Angeles, Irapuato, Cidade do México e Tulum. Ah, e ela já tocou também no topo da Torre Eiffel. Très chic!

Shugi’s sound is a frisky stir of techno, disco, electronic music, afro, and vocal house. Her secret plan is to lure the world into her groove and have them helplessly dancing to her beat. Resident DJ at Rinse France radio and Club Silencio in Paris, she also sneaks off to LA to host ‘Mass’ parties from time to time. No two sets are alike. From festivals to clubs and private events for brands like Chloe, LVMH, and Comme des Garcons, her sound is always fine-tuned to the occasion. Shugi is also the singer and songwriter for Their Names, an electro-pop duo with producer Max Future at the helm. Some other gigs include shows in Berlin, Lisbon, Porto, Stockholm, Los Angeles, Irapuato, Mexico City, and Tulum. Oh, and she once played at the top of the Eiffel Tower, so there's that.

What do you play when you're closing down an inspiring weekend retreat celebrating 20 years of Shameless? Here you go!

Although the recording ended up with a few random pops/crackles along with an 8 second moment where a CDJ died mid mix (not sure WTF happened there?!), I decided to move past the imperfections and share this moment in time. 

I won't ever forget following John Tejada's epic 3 hour journey to close out our 20 year celebration riding into the morning together.
