The seventh release on SPAZIOTEMPO, the 4/4 side of Where We Met, marks Rambal Cochet’s full gas debut on the label.

The title track Ambientica is a proggy weapon the brings acid vibes and techy rhythms on a perfect balance. East Block, the other track on the A side, explores dreamier melodies with a punchy structure.

The B1, Tidal Types, is a techy prog weapon with ethnic samples and clear 90ies reminders and Underwater Armour, the closing track, seals it up with more truancy evolution and yeah, we can’t get enough of em!

“We’re kicking off winter with a flashback to summer,” says veteran Belarusian musician and DJ @Schmoltz, a core member of Radio Plato, about his latest mix.

Clocking in at almost an hour, the mix radiates pure positivity with carefully curated Italo House vibes. A devoted fan of old-school dance music, Schmoltz aims to remind us of the roots and essence of house — a term he feels has recently been applied too broadly, “almost everything that isn’t ‘techno.’”

Having already taken the mix for a spin, we can confidently say it’s more than a collection of tracks — it’s a journey through time and space. Picture this: it’s the early 90s, and Italian producers are adapting Chicago drum machine grooves, infusing them with Mediterranean hedonism. Listeners, dancers, and studio-equipped clubs—already primed by the Italo-disco wave of the 80s—embrace this sound wholeheartedly. A little more time, and it would sweep across Europe, only to morph into Eurodance, losing much of its unique charm along the way.

Using just the acronym of his real and artist name, Matthias Schildger, is back in top form on his and brother Christian's Mainrecords imprint, gifting us the 'Radiation Dance' EP. On the vinyl version, it's four tracks from Matt and one from both brothers as CSMS, plus on the digital release there is the bonus cut of 'SomewhereInSpace' from Matt, of which more will be written later. 

Second on this side of 12" is Rzwodzwo's Brain, an extremely quirky electronic jam, with off-kilter beeps and bleeps, swirling radio-interference style FX noises and metallic hits in the percussion, all sat atop a wonderfully woozy bassline, adding some welcome warmth, with all the bleeping and fuzzy high-end sounds whirling around the top. A shiny pad also comes into play at the halfway point, which also adds another layer of joy. A superbly intricate, offbeat and slightly mad, but gorgeous, club track is on offer here, just excellent.

2025 kicks off a new year with a new artist for Klasse Wrecks, it is with great pleasure we welcome Glasgow based DJ and producer Stevie Cox to our ranks. Stevie’s second full length release is one of deep cerebral breaks and evolving technicoloured techno, 4 tracks that surprisingly weave an already defined and recognisable sound from the young artist.

Don’t expect over-thought and over-cooked musings though, Ms. Cox keeps it fresh, to the point and relevant with most tracks clocking in around 5 minutes. There is enough playfulness to keep the gurners smiling and enough well-thought out drumwork to keep the feet moving, this tight selection will most likely find its way into a variety of record bags during its lifespan.
