Boom Festival for me has always be such an incredible place for transformation. I have attended the event every 2 years since 2008 and every single time I under go a life and career change. 2010 i played in the Iboga BOOM bar, 2012 I was lucky enough to play an impromptu  5hours at the Alchemy Circle on a Wednesday afternoon " this changed my life". This year I was honoured to be offered 3 hours on the Sunday afternoon one set before the close. 

How does one prepare for a set of this magnitude???.....Especially after the people of BOOMs ears and minds have been exploring the infinite possibility of the psychedelic realms for close to 7 days. Although it proved to be somewhat of a challenge it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my DJing career so far. Thanks to Manu & Artur for enabling this. 

To all the BOOMers thank you for dancing and all the wonderful feedback and support it means so much to hear your stories from the dance floor. Please enjoy part 2 of the mix the last couple of tracks are not there due to the sound desk being fried.

Coming from the heart of Bosnia, Solomun is a passionate DJ who certainly knows how to please a crowd and keep the energy on the floor. Equally as talented and creative in the studio, he has many releases to his name on his own label Diynamic, as well as other imprints such as Four:Twenty, liebe*detail and Dessous recordings. Made for the dancefloor, his productions always have an element of funk or surprise, reminding people of the fun that's there to be had with music. As a label with many close ties to mobilee records, Diynamic will be co-hosting a party at mobilee's Sonar 2010 celebrations, which makes it even more fitting that this release brings the two forces more closely together.

Solomun's next big bang, being brought to you via Leena music, is a sure extension of his impeccable production skills and style, and is also one of the most unique releases you will here on the label so far. A-side 'Sisi' opens with a head-spinning explosion of notes and chords, being fired out like sparks in a continual loop. Then half way through the record, they dramatically stop, only to soon build up again and set the roller coaster off once more. B-side 'Talk To The Hand' is a bass-heavy and punchy track, that surprises you with euphoric piano chords in the second half, whilst B2 'Curesto' brings all of the elements together with piano chords, build-ups and some drama. The musical project " Animals In Cage " was born from the improbable encounter of two personalities so contradictory as complementary.

Julien-aka the clamps - is a producer of talent. He spends most of his time locked in his studio. His main satisfaction is creation, his pieces are played in every corner of the world.

Kim - aka Skimfish travels the world, to raves and festivals since the age of 15 years, knows dance floors and handles them with Subtlety. He can uplift emotion &amp; rhythm into that perfect symbiosis that makes a DJ a great DJ.

When both friends find themselves in the studio, one brings his knowledge of the dance floor and the other his incredible technique, as the Yin and the Yang.

So far they have featured tracks on Labels such as IAMT, Rabies records, Inlab underground and others. They have played along side names such as UMEK, Julian Jeweil, Marco Bailey and many more…
