If you’re familiar with the EKOU sonics we push, then you’ll know how much we love getting
behind a beautiful, dark, rolling beat. Our latest release is testament to this, and it comes
courtesy of Manikin, who is debuting on the label with his Iron Mind / Lost In Hiatus single.
Manikin is a name you might have some recollection of after he laid down some very promising
foundations in the scene between 2020 to 2021, releasing on imprints including
SkankandBass, Terra Firma Records and Soullab. But we haven’t heard so much from the
Australia-born artist since. With a string of singles lined up for 2023, Manikin is refreshed and
ready to stamp his name across the drum and bass scene, starting with this single. Packing
high energy rhythms and atmospheric soundscapes, it’s just a taste of what’s to come from a
promising talent with an ear for meticulously crafted deep beats.

After successful releases on Kinetik Recordings and Citate Forms, as well as tearing it up on the Kinetik stage at this years Let it Roll festival, Edit.MKK keeps going from strength to strength. Now teaming up with Adey B, the duo drop a feisty 2 track EP entitled 'Subcriminal' that really packs a punch! 

With great support throughout the scene already, rest assured there's plenty more to come from this dynamic duo.

After the success of their 'Something Strange' single earlier this year and their powerful contribution to the 'New Age Myths EP', Addictive Behaviour are proud to present another inspiring release from the technically gifted production trio known as Data 3.  

The opening track 'Fossil' unearths a meticulously engineered rhythm as Data 3 deliver another dose of their defining sound. Creeping in with a dusting of percussion and a pressure building kick-drum before rolling out a thick modulated bassline and aggressive growls, transporting you to another world.  This track is full of character, constantly switching and fascinating till the end. 

Canyon Dreams is next and cuts in fiercely with a solid metallic jungle beat to open up. Sinister tones build to a sharp drop characterized by an unsettling crackling synth that buzzes along like a swarm of killer bees. Interspersed with sticky drum breaks and tinged with eerie pad work, this is another beautifully crafted piece of work from a solid production outfit that are relentless in their output. 

Returning to the fold with two of their finest cuts of music, this production trio is solid and continue to define their imprint on the drum & bass scene.

If you don’t already know Sinic & Wingz, well… you probably should. Both are established and diverse producers in their own right, and the collaborative effort Fin perfectly fuses their styles and production values into one slice of minimal delight. Arpeggiating synths are briefly teased in the intro, before the tune plunges into a precision led drop that utilises bass stabs and damaging lower frequencies to great degree. The synths in the intro soon come back into play, adding a more melodic element to the track as it progresses, whilst still keeping its form as a deep, club slammer.
