Brent Dienst began at Pixar Animation Studios as an animator the summer of 2017. Since joining the studio, he has worked as a fix animator on the Academy Award® winning feature film “Coco” as well as “Incredibles 2.” and most recently he worked as an animator on “Toy Story 4,” which is set to release June 21, 2019. 

As an animator, Brett really breathes life into the characters on the screen so that they feel natural and authentic to the viewers. Prior to Pixar, Brent was a Hand Drawn animator, animating iconic characters such as Tony the Tiger and the RiceKrispies Treat commercials. Then after  transitioning to CG animation, Dienst worked for Arc, Blue Sky, and Walt Disney Animation Studios. 

Brent was Raised in Dekalb, IL, before going to  Sheridan’s Animation Program in Oakville, Ontario and currently he lives in Emeryville, CA.

He is the owner of PigBird Stop Motion Studio and his credits include Watermill Farm: A series of short plasticine farm animal adventures for Nickelodeon’s Nick Jr channel, and Pushkin: Bafta shortlisted animation about an old lady who cannot find her beloved cat and which has won many awards both in the UK and internationally. Recently Trevor finished directing ‘STRIKE’ a 90 minute stop-motion feature film, currently enjoying it’s cinema release in the UK, France and America.

Adam Ciolfi’s lifelong fascination with stop motion animation began in 1975 when at age ten he discovered the work of Ray Harryhausen (The 7th Voyage of Sinbad) In 1977 he attempted his first film with a lump of clay and a Regular 8 camera. By 1985 he and his siblings had produced 26 amateur short films. 

After earning a degree in film production from York University Adam embarked on his professional career. He completed his first professional production, the stop motion short ATTIC IN THE BLUE in 1991. It would win 4 awards for Best Animated Short during its festival run before being sold for broadcast. 

In 1996, after a series of live action shorts, he began work on a stop motion feature film. THE LADY OF NAMES (2011) would take 14 years to complete and go on to screen at over 60 festivals worldwide, winning the award for Best Animated Feature 9 times. 
He followed that up with the multi-award winning and critically acclaimed shorts BROKEN (2014) and HIVE (2016) 
FILTH (2019) marks his third short in six years and the most successful film of his career so far. Currently he is hard at work on his next animated short, FROM HELL HE RIDES, a loving tribute to the spaghetti westerns of the 1060’s.
