A few years ago I started to put together two playlists that were very different from each other, but they had one thing in common - a powerful bass and a leisurely beat. West and East, desert prairies and mysterious aromas of spices... Country and blues here are replaced by Arabic motifs and all this under a fat layer of rhythm sections. I decided to combine all this into one mix for a reason. Music of different nations and continents, as well as their cultures, is unique and original, but when all these layers are mixed together, something even more powerful, wild and beautiful is born." From a young age, Mikhail Torshenko aka Mawru was fascinated by the magical properties of sounds and their combinations, after discovering electronic music and computer programs, he studied sequencers and synthesizers for many years. Somewhere in 2015, a personal musical style began to emerge, first SoundCloud releases followed and then collaboration with labels such as Visionary Shamanic and UnityVerse Records, and the Microcosmos label, playing at major Russian electronic music festivals. He's now preparing for the release of new material.
