I know I'm probably only going to be the only one here that actually took some offense to the whole "yt" people thing on here (let alone those comments being 1-2 years old by now), but I'm going to say something that might make some people upset. you can interpret the song the way you want. That's the point of music. if you want to say it's to empower POC, then that's great! I'd gladly support that, but if you're going to also put down others by saying "I hate yt people," then that just takes away from your point. let people interpret the song the way they want. If you're mad at their interpretation, then that's your problem. don't put others down just because you feel a certain way towards a song or people.
