“Escarcéu Azul” ("Blue Uproar in Portuguese)is the new single by the instrumental band Animizmo and the first with the new lineup, with Pedro Camargo on bass. It was entirely composed and recorded during the pandemic, a period in which making music also ended up being a kind of “palliative medicine”. We believe that it conveys a little bit both the agony of this phase and the joy of eventually getting out of it completely. Technically it's a song we created with new elements in mind, mainly jazz and fusion, styles we've felt more connected to in recent years. But in addition to them, we also feel more comfortable adding even more the heavy parts that have been in the band's DNA since the beginning. It was produced and mixed by Gilson Fukushima (Alexandre Nero, André Abujamra). "Blue Escarcéu" is now available on most platforms and will soon have a music video that is already in production.
