About 70 million years ago, a species lived on earth that was different from all others.
A lizard-like creature with scales of gold and silver, claws as sharp as razor blades, more nimble than the naked eye can see and as intelligent as an octopus.
The seemingly small predator may have looked harmless compared to its giant rivals, but it dominated by working in a well-rehearsed army of like-minded competitors.
Over the years, the small predators conquered the entire world and spread rapidly.
Once again, size was not the decisive factor.
They seemed to be unstoppable and lived without fear or opposition.
But one day this should change...
A meteoroid with the diameter of 180killometer broke through the cloud cover and tore everything in debris and ash what was on earth.
Even the small predators had no chance and were completely wiped out by the catastrophe. 
Fortunately for us.

Born atop the forgotten ruins of a crumbling city, a new civilization had emerged from the ruin wrought by demonkind upon the landscape that lay beneath them. Lead by their prophets of a new and powerful faith, the people of this civilization had risen up against the demon kings, wielding the magic of their divine allies as weapons with which to exorcise their being once more from the land. This war though hard fought had born fruit, and with the slaying of the final demon the people had rejoiced, celebrating their victories with monumental constructions to mark the beginning of a new and golden era. Foremost of these was the great cathedral that lay at the heart of their new city, built both as a space of worship for the populace and as an eternal ward of imprisonment for the souls of demonkind which could not be slain, forever condemning them to an incorporeal existence under the watchful eye of the divine.

Ages had passed since then, and time had once again ground its steady edge against the minds of the people and upon the stones and timbers that had supported the great city for so long. Ritual had been forgotten, and structures of greater grandeur had been built as the city expanded, relegating it’s once monumental cathedral to neglect. Thus it was that the falling of only a single candle had lit an aged timber in it’s great hall, in so doing weakening the ancient wards that had kept the demonic spirits at bay. Ever vigilant in their ceaseless desire to escape, the demon kings fanned this flame with their focused ire, nurturing it from a single mote into a overwhelming conflagration that tore at the runic chains that had bound them for so long. Before long, the roaring of the flames was augmented by the howls of demonic spirits set free from a millennia of imprisonment, their visages taking form in the fire as manifestations of their burning rage. As the inferno bellowed ever higher, the city cowered in fear, for it was clear that the time of DIVERGENCE had come once more.

EATBRAIN unleashes the full fury of their horde with the fourth installment in their DIVERGENCE compilation series, a gargantuan 26 track compilation filled to the brim with new tracks from EATBRAIN mainstays and newcomers alike. Brought together by their affinities for EATBRAIN’s unrestrained neurofunk sound, the artists within deliver a tour de force of the label’s guiding philosophy with ferocious basslines and terrifying sonic atmospheres alike, delivering a mammoth series of tracks set to inspire the fervor of the label’s horde in the months to come.

Starting our 2nd drop of the now infamous Dirtbox Recordings Tape Pack Project, Things are hotting up with our releases from Shayper Titled "Iteration" and The Fi5th titled "Procedure"

V's 5 through to 8 land on this drop from both artists giving us vast coverage of multiple DNB sounds and styles throughout to help us culminate at the end of the year with 2 massive artist albums (We have something special in mind for sure just you wait.

Additionally now all tracks have added names to them for an individualistic look and to give it more noticability.

As we embark onwards of our 5th full year of running at Dirtbox Recordings we embark on, what can only be described as the most intuitive and ballsy project to date.

In this project what you can expect to see is a series of releases spanning 12 months. The first 4 are already out there and both artists will be dropping a single, on the 1st of every month still on our side project to Dirtbox no matter what day that is for the entire year totalling 12 tracks each.

This is first of all to create consistency for these artists on their release schedule, making sure both have monthly music out while also letting the audience know exactly when to expect the next.

The releases are ready to go now with all work within the background completed and waiting for each release to land on stores.

Additionally to this both artists are receiving a much higher cut than a usual label split while additionally we have managed to cut the majority of costs for the release to help push a lot more revenue through to the artist.

Very recently Spotify have decided to not pay for tracks streaming less than 1000 streams per year, in which from then that revenue generated will be spread out to tracks that do.

A very poor situation for producers and labels a like. But to counter this we are working closely with the artists to make sure their accounts on Spotify help to create a better chance to obtain streams through their updated profiles. consistent music released to incur additional playlist consideration.
