Anja Pi is a Copenhagen-based versatile selector. In her club collection, she blends high-energy trance, techno, and electronica for when the twilight hits the city. It is not shy to embrace elements of tackiness or vampiness.
As a member of the MetaCat collective, Anja Pi collaborates with like-minded DJs to explore the boundaries of sound.

Anja Pi is part of the duo Nicekill as a songwriter and vocalist, weaving narratives of dancefloor poetry.
All of her projects share identity by including raw synths, acid, and synth-pop vocals.

Anja Pi is a DJ project from Denmark, radiating fast-paced, bouncy, and feminine energy. In her club collection, she blends heavy bassline trance, techno, and electronica for when twilight hits the city. She is not shy to embrace cheeky vocal samples and elements of tackiness or vampiness, giving her sets a playful edge with a kiss of acid and old-school '90s classic rave elements.

For this edition of Yas Invites, she writes about her set:

"I am honored to be in the Yas Invites podcast series. For this edition, I have created a set inspired by July as season, the summertime. I will call it "sunshine techno," as it has a light and playful energy to it. If this were a live set, I would have loved to play it in a forest at sunset and let the last part of the set be after dark. Like the sunset, this is a colorful journey that ends in total darkness."
