Recorded on Fri Oct 6th, 2023 at D59B, a wine bar and radio broadcast station in Berlin. The night was a special one, mixing 6 hours B2B with my dear friend Eddy Ramich. This is the first hour, which I played solo before he arrived. Enjoy! ✨🎛️😉

For the next episode of Released Control, Anjawah has crafted a blissful one-hour mix brimming with pulsating basslines, dreamy acid swells, and trippy beats. Expect dancing to be inevitable. In the second hour, radio host Eclectic Elektra serves up a mix packed with house, breaks, tribal rhythms, and acid lines to set ablaze your Saturday night.

Anjawah’s love for electronic music has been shaped by her clubbing experiences in New York, Chicago, Detroit, and throughout Europe. After settling in Berlin, she picked up DJing and has played in some of the city’s prominent venues. Anjawah has a flair for mixing a range of genres to create deep, progressive and acid-infused soundscapes. On Saturday, March 9th, she will make her festival debut at the Power of Female Art Festival at Teufelsberg in Berlin.

From her beloved, formative nights at the Sullivan Room, followed by afters at Greenhouse (formally The Shelter) or one-off warehouse parties, New York City has been at the root of Anjawah’s love for house and electronic music. As well, frequent trips to Chicago, Detroit and Europe over the years bred her musical taste, which is eclectic and dance floor focused. She brings a diverse range to her upbeat DJ sets: mixing classic and groovy, deep house with minimal, acid and progressive sounds. Now, Anjawah is steadily recording guest mixes and her own "4th Floor Sessions", and she has played in various Berlin clubs including Anomalie Art Club, Bulbul Berlin and Renate.

Sunday morning in Wintergarten, wow, how do I find the words to describe playing at Sisyphos for the first time… well, it’s all captured! 🎙️😅

Recorded live from 10-13h for a special Dabbs Traxx curation, the musical journey started with deep and garage house while the clouds broke and sun began to shine. In the last hour there was a passing shower, which filled the room with dancers, creating the perfect energy for my favorite acid and prog house tracks! 💓

We somehow only got a recording with the microphone, which captures the amazing, supportive crowd 🥰📣 plus some chitchat. 🫢

4-7am Saturday morning in Wintergarten was like no other! 🤩🥹
The energy was palpable from the start — endless dancing, shouting and smiles. 😁⚡️

Thanks for giving me all that energy to bang out a solid two-plus hours of acid, ravey, bass-heavy house before flowing into more euphoric sounds as the daylight slowly came in. 🌤️✨

The connection with the crowd was something special! Feeling so grateful for this opportunity to play one of my favorite dance floors again. 💗🪩
