Above & Beyond release the ‘Tranquility Base Vol. 2’ EP, a collection of five instrumental club anthems that fuse elements from across the electronic music spectrum.

During a busy year of worldwide shows, including Brazil, Canada, UK and the US, the GRAMMY-nominated founders of Anjunabeats, Jono, Paavo and Tony have been hard at work in the studio on their next volume.

The name of the EP series references A&B’s beloved Tranquility Base alias, which was revered for its contribution to the trance genre, including iconic records such as ‘Surrender’, ‘Oceanic’ and ‘Razorfish’.

Following the enormous success of Volume 1 last year, Above & Beyond are back with the second set of five club-dominating instrumental records.

Above & Beyond’s ‘React’, the bassline-heavy single from ‘Tranquility Base Vol. 2’, was released on 1 November.

The second single, a euphoric classic trance track titled ‘Another Breakdown’, was released on 20 November.

Debuted at Above & Beyond Group Therapy 600 in Mexico City to an audience of 14,000, and recently heard at Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Dreamstate SoCal, the full EP is here.

It features three additional tracks: ‘Hackney Siren’, an electric melting pot of trance, acid and breakbeat, layered with piano chords reminiscent of 90s piano house; ‘From Grey To Light’, another experimental production from the trio featuring trippy acid baselines and layers of piano chords, and ‘Chasing Highs’, a classic trance track that delivers a sound reminiscent of the early 2000s club era.

Originally released in 2016 by Bien, gardenstate’s Marcus Schössow discovered the track while browsing Netflix. After contacting the Nashville-based indie pop band, their collaboration made its way to Anjunabeats in July 2021.

Included on gardenstate's 'Inspirations' album (released in October 2021), the heartfelt track has seen a new lease of life in recent months. 'The Best Part' has been streamed over five million times as of May 2022, with over 47,000 videos using the track on Instagram Reels, and support in Spotify's 'Chill Tracks' and 'Viral Dance' playlists.

'The Best Part' has also been remixed by Patrice Bäumel and Lost Prince, with Patrice's remix becoming a favourite of UK tastemakers Camelphat, and supported multiple times on BBC Radio 1 by Pete Tong.

A tech-trance innovator, Sander van Doorn is one of the most recognisable and versatile artists in the electronic scene. He captures a feverish energy in his records and was instrumental in the evolution of trance and progressive house music in the early noughties. His very own Doorn imprint is home to some of the biggest names in dance music today. 

Sander’s Purple Haze alias is on the deeper, darker end of his own creative spectrum. Under this alias, he’s created some of our favourite club records of modern times, ‘Bliksem’, ‘The Hymn 2.0’ and ‘Bergen’.

A celebrated musician and DJ, Paavo is one-third of the legendary British dance institution Above & Beyond, founders of London-based label Anjunabeats. After spending years behind the decks on stage, Paavo reflected on his experiences as a teenage rave kid, and felt compelled to dance in the heart of the crowd at the desert raves of Burning Man and clubs in Ibiza. ‘It’s Me’ sees P.O.S work alongside DJ and producer Spencer Brown. Paavo and Spencer's friendship stretches back to 2014, when the budding producer caught the ear of Above & Beyond with his debut release 'Chalice' on Avicii's imprint LE7ELS. A versatile talent, Spencer's impressive portfolio includes two mixed albums on Anjunabeats plus releases on Anjunadeep, mau5trap and Sasha's Last Night On Earth. In 2022, Spencer launched his own label, diviine.

In making 'It's Me', Paavo and Spencer worked alongside Marieme Diop, an accomplished Senegalese-American singer-songwriter who has previously performed alongside Akon, Youssou N'Dour and Pape & Cheikh. Her voice might be familiar across a wide range of programming in film and television, in addition to other musical collaborations and her own original work. Her recent track 'Built For Greatness' was used to promote Michelle Obama & Oprah Winfrey's Netflix show, 'The Light We Carry', as well as the WNBA draft on ESPN. Black History Month on ABC also featured Marieme’s 'Freedom', and her song 'Rogue' is a frequent feature in the Apple TV+ television series, ‘Truth Be Told’.

Scandivinavian production duo anamē present ‘Anywhere (Road Trippin’)’, the first single from their upcoming debut album on Anjunabeats.

Marcus Schössow and Thomas Sagstad have been planning, plotting and dreaming anamē for two decades. First coming together at a house party in Helsingborg, Sweden, the Swede and the Norwegian bonded over a love of artists (Sasha or early Tiesto), labels (Strictly Rhythm, Defected), ethics (“We both wanted to work hard for our dreams”) and ideas.

Described by the band as their take on ‘the electronic love song of the summer’, ‘Anywhere’ (Road Trippin’)' begins the journey towards their yet-to-be-named debut album, announced in a skit filmed in Anjuna HQ. Over the coming weeks and months, the band will be pulling back the curtain on how an album comes together, through their social media channels and on their ‘It’s a Beautiful World’ podcast series.

The track that closed out both of their sets supporting Above & Beyond at Printworks London in April, ‘Anywhere (Road Trippin’)’ drills into the importance of true, bone-deep connectivity: “You can take me anywhere, just as long as you’re with me.”

Ukrainian breakout talent Korolova remixes Kasablanca’s ‘In Sequence’. 

Acclaimed electronic duo Kasablanca follow up the release of their second EP on Anjunabeats, ‘Lucid Audio’, with Korolova’s remix of ‘In Sequence’. 3LAU and XIRA return to Anjunabeats with ‘Easy’, out now.

American producer Justin Blau, a.k.a. 3LAU, and Australian vocalist XIRA made their Anjunabeats debut in 2019 with ‘Tokyo’. The track earned support from the likes of Tiësto, Diplo and Don Diablo, shot to the top spot of Sirius XM BPM’s most played chart for four weeks, and has since racked up over 30M streams.

Back with their second official collaboration since 2020, Kasablanca and Lane 8 team up on latest hit track, 'Remission', on Anjunabeats.

Launching into the dance music scene in 2020 with their first releases, Kasablanca quickly made a name for themselves later that July with the release of their hit collaboration with Lane 8, 'Run'. With that original track now streamed over 40M times worldwide since its release, hitting #1 on SiriusXM BPM, and heard countless times live at major festival stages around the world, Kasablanca and Lane 8 look to follow up on their success together with their latest collaborative release, 'Remission'.

Kasablanca delivers the first half of their debut album ‘Higher Resolution’, bringing fans an 11-track Side A complete with seven new tracks.

Hitting milestone after milestone, Kasablanca has quickly risen through the ranks of dance music must-see acts over the past four years. Launching into the scene with their first singles in 2020, they struck gold with their hit collaboration with Lane 8, ‘Run,’ which has been streamed over 40M times, and they haven’t looked back since.  

The duo's journey has been explosive over the years since their first ‘Human Learning EP’ in 2020. Most widely known for their enthralling live performances, the duo has played some of the world's most well-known venues and festivals, like Printworks, Coachella, Red Rocks, and The Gorge, alongside shows across four continents. Their songs have also been heard worldwide on the radio, including features on BBC Radio 1 and SiriusXM, the latter bringing in a #1 hit on BPM with ‘Run.’

In 2023, the duo sold out their first-ever headline tour focusing on legendary rock venues around North America.  Towards the end of the year, their final shows were cut short after revealing that frontman "Mickey" had been diagnosed with cancer. Singles ‘Terminal Feeling’ and ‘Daydream’ with anamē gave fans differing sonic styles from the melodic techno duo, with their viral anthem ‘Breathe’ finally landing in August.  The official cover of the 1996 hit by The Prodigy started with a viral video in 2023, and 10M views later has seen support worldwide from streaming platforms and radio stations alike.

With the Side A release of their debut album, ‘Higher Resolution, ’ Kasablanca now takes their next step on their meteoric rise. Led by the title track of the same name, the album brings fans on an epic journey from to finish. Above & Beyond release the ‘Tranquility Base Vol. 2’ EP, a collection of five instrumental club anthems that fuse elements from across the electronic music spectrum. 

During a busy year of worldwide shows, including Brazil, Canada, UK and the US, the GRAMMY-nominated founders of Anjunabeats, Jono, Paavo and Tony have been hard at work in the studio on their next volume.

The name of the EP series references A&B’s beloved Tranquility Base alias, which was revered for its contribution to the trance genre, including iconic records such as ‘Surrender’, ‘Oceanic’ and ‘Razorfish’. 

Following the enormous success of Volume 1 last year, Above & Beyond are back with the second set of five club-dominating instrumental records.

Above & Beyond’s ‘React’, the bassline-heavy single from ‘Tranquility Base Vol. 2’, was released on 1 November. 

The second single, a euphoric classic trance track titled ‘Another Breakdown’, was released on 20 November.

Debuted at Above & Beyond Group Therapy 600 in Mexico City to an audience of 14,000, and recently heard at Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Dreamstate SoCal, the full EP is here.

It features three additional tracks: ‘Hackney Siren’, an electric melting pot of trance, acid and breakbeat, layered with piano chords reminiscent of 90s piano house; ‘From Grey To Light’, another experimental production from the trio featuring trippy acid baselines and layers of piano chords, and ‘Chasing Highs’, a classic trance track that delivers a sound reminiscent of the early 2000s club era.

Highlighting the ever-evolving sound of the label, Anjunabeats is proud to welcome Tinlicker for their first single outing.

Bringing a dance floor sensibility to the deeper end of the electronic spectrum, the Dutch duo Jordi van Achthoven and Micha Heyboer have courted the attention of global labels and tastemakers since breaking out in 2013. Prolific musicians with backgrounds in dubstep and pop production, their journey so far has seen them release on the likes of Mau5trap, Armada, Sotto Voce and Anjunadeep - with an a eclectic array of DJ support from Above & Beyond to Oliver Heldens, Tiësto to Yotto.

Able to turn their hand to deep house, techno and electro, the pair have reworked the likes of Lane 8 and Deadmau5; their stunning update of Reflekt ‘Need To Feel Loved’ becoming a sought after mix among fellow DJs over the last 12 months.

Having played every stop of the Anjunabeats 17 date North American tour this Spring, their first single on the label partners them with Run Rivers (Chris James) for ‘Lost’. With previous collaborations including DJ Shadow and Joe Ashworth, Chris adds a yearning quality to the rolling grooves of ‘Lost’.

TInlicker explains how the collaboration came about, “The first track we tried to make with Chris just didn't want to succeed and then suddenly out of the blue this gem appeared. The power of almost giving up, but persevering comes through in the song”.

Together we wrote 'Soon You’ll Be Gone’ and 'Nothing Without You’, so we definitely wanted another track in collaboration with him on our album. This tune has a very nice feel-good vibe for us, and that is mainly due to Thomas' vocals. We tried to make the instrumental elements fit around it as well as possible. "

Released on his magnificent ‘In My Last Life’ album in 2018, ‘Open End Resource’ is one of Andrew Bayer’s finest works. One of Anjunabeats’ most well-known artists, he continues to be a force to be reckoned with on the label. He released collaborations with ilan Bluestone, Cosmic Gate and Genix in 2020, and mixed a compilation of his favourite Anjuna tracks for our 20 Years mix series. 

A regular on Lane 8’s This Never Happened label, OCULA has already impressed on Anjunabeats with a remix of Gabriel & Dresden and Sub Teal’s ‘Remember’. His releases have been supported by Above & Beyond, Hardwell, Chicane, Solarstone, Lane 8, and Matt Fax.
