Northling drop the second single from their upcoming EP 'Wild'.

Formed in 2017 as an improvisational collective, Northling draws inspiration from the ever-changing landscapes of Lancashire, encompassing its coastlines, lakes, and fells, where the shifting seasons can unfold within a single hour. This rich diversity is reflected in their cinematic indie-electronica music, which effortlessly transitions from melancholic to euphoric, from darkness to light, and from desolation to celebration.

Since their formation, Northling's music has garnered support from respected platforms such as BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music. They were also the first band to release on Reflections, earmarking their distinctive sound on the label back in 2022 with their EP Tycho.

'Hallowed Ground' is the band’s third EP, the second to be released through Reflections. ‘Wild', with its synth arps and urgent, rolling drums reveals another side to the band, one that's more forthright and energetic. Throughout the track, vocalist Joe Spencer’s lyrics explore the modern detachment from wildness and the urge to escape into nature, a call that is answered by Charlotte Rumley’s haunting declaration of “into the wild we go...”. With its specific sentiment and phrasing, this vocal part of Rumley’s was lifted from a different demo to become the focus and inspiration behind the writing of 'Wild'.

Franky Wah, one of the UK’s most prominent breakout dance acts to emerge in recent years, makes a return to Anjunadeep with his latest EP ‘Call My Name’.

Announcing the EP last week, Franky shared the title-track ‘Call My Name’, featuring vocals from Rae Morris. The single has already amassed over 100k streams and has been playlisted on Capital Dance and Kiss Bliss.

Franky initially made his mark on the label in 2021 with his track ’Should Have Seen It Coming’, feat. AETHO. The single has amassed over nine million streams to date, and has received extensive airplay, including playlist support from Sirius XM, and over 30 BBC Radio 1 plays, including a Hottest Record accolade from Annie Mac. 

Since then, Franky has released two EPs on Anjunadeep, along with a string of chart-topping singles, collaborating with some of the biggest names in dance music including Carl Cox, Sasha, Pete Tong, Cristoph, Vintage Culture and more.

Franky Wah’s touring schedule for the summer is an extremely busy one. He will be playing over 40 dates, including his debut headline residency in Ibiza at Club Chinois and performances at major festivals including EDC Vegas, Creamfields, Tomorrowland and Electric Zoo. Additionally, Franky will join an all-star lineup at Anjunadeep Open Air London in Finsbury Park on August 13, where his performance will feature guest vocalist Rae Morris to perform ‘Call My Name’.

After a whirlwind 2019, which saw Eric Luttrell release his acclaimed debut solo album ‘Into Clouds’ on Anjunadeep, the prolific San Francisco native makes a swift return to the UK imprint with his second LP ‘Lucky Ones’. Kicking off this spring, Eric embarks on his most extensive headline tour to date, with 23 North American shows revealed so far, which includes a performance at the iconic Coachella festival, with more to be announced.
 
First breaking into electronic music as part of the OWSLA-affiliated trio The M Machine, Eric launched his solo project in 2016 with the widely supported ‘Need You’ EP, while Anjunadeep catalog favorites ‘Generate’ EP and Annie Mac’s Hottest Record In The World ‘Intergalactic Plastic’ followed in quick succession. Now with his highly-praised debut album under his belt, which reached #2 on iTunes Dance Album charts in USA and Canada and #8 in the Official UK Dance Album Charts, Luttrell’s unique brand of quirky melodic house and techno has cemented his name as one of the scenes most hotly tipped talents; opening doors to working with Moby, Tycho, Jai Wolf, and Blossoms all of whom commissioned remixes from Eric.
 
Whereas ‘Into Clouds’ examined the transitional periods of life, and was reflective of Eric’s mindset at the time of recording, ‘Lucky Ones’ is a celebration. Anchored in themes of gratitude, the LP is a collection of 11 meticulously crafted cuts which see him draw from a deep pool of personal influences, including the likes of The Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana and The Prodigy, his love for San Francisco and Burning Man, time spent as a student in Berlin, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro,  and even winning the US TV game show, The Price Is Right.

Having previously released on Lane 8’s label This Never Happened in 2018 and having featured on Anjunadeep 11, burgeoning Belgian talent Jerro now officially joins Anjunadeep with the single release of ‘Tunnel Vision’, featuring an exclusive remix from Los-Angeles based producer Durante.

Pairing somber piano chords with a hard-hitting drumbeat, Jerro reflects Kauf's introspective vocals as he expresses the difficult feelings of obsession and anxiety in a relationship. In his up-tempo reimagining, Durante pairs the original melancholic lyrics with bright plucked synths and energetic percussion.
