Offering a snapshot of the much anticipated compilation, each mini-mix previews 5 tracks from the two CDs. Jody Wisternoff's mini-mix includes two exclusive new original tracks of his own, "We Are Heroes" and "Macbeth", along with Alfred Taylor's "Kuza" and Jody's take on "Alchemy" by Above & Beyond. Japanese producer Lycoriscoris aka Yunosuke Senoo makes his Anjunadeep debut with a bold 6-track EP, encompassing his wide-ranging electronic, classical, and jazz influences. 

With two albums under his belt on Japanese indie labels, he garnered impressive A-list support from DJ Koze, Michael Mayer and Dominik Eulberg over the past 12 months with his release on Kompakt’s KX imprint. 

This was followed by a memorable contribution to the iTunes #1 Dance album ‘Anjunadeep 08’, the contemplative ‘Drop’, reworked by Jody Wisternoff and James Grant especially for the compilation.

Presenting his most expansive project to date, Lycoriscoris showcases a meticulously crafted journey through electronica, from the trippy tones of ‘Sur Oiseau’, the record drifts into the upbeat groove of ‘AS’, a quirky blend of organic sounds and experimental percussion. 

Title track ‘Drop’ weaves delicate low-end beneath an emotive piano line before the dreamy pads of ‘Lush’. Penultimate track ‘Her’ layers guitar riffs and intricate melodies alongside stuttered percussive sounds ahead of the EP’s blissful finale ‘MSK’.

Since launching in early 2016, the Explorations series returns for its fourth outing. Having previously welcomed artists such as Theo Kottis, Tontario, Modd and Luttrell to the label, ‘Anjunadeep Explorations 04’ introduces more new faces to the family.

Previously one-half of production duo Journeyman, Dom Furlonge makes his debut outing under his new Antic alias with EP opener ‘And I Pray’. Dom showcases his own vocals and distinctive production flair on this quirky club cut.

Our second track brings together the Bath-based duo Kotu and Munich’s Sam Goku on ‘Ascension’, blending a subtle rolling bassline with soaring strings and sparse piano to wonderful effect. A much sought after ID from recent Anjunadeep Editions from James Grant and Dom Donnelly.

Next up is emerging German talent Ben Böhmer with ‘Flug & Fall’. Ben fuses organic elements, vocal chanting and warm melodic grooves in this uplifting number.

Closing the EP, Melbourne’s GMJ and Matter debut with throwback progressive gem ‘Earthless’.

There are progressive club sounds too in the bittersweet glow of ‘Magneta Sunset’, the uplifting ‘Zeppelin’ and the hypnotic flutters of ‘Kilimanjaro’, while forthcoming single ‘Ghost In The Machine’ – released 22nd November alongside a Spirit Catcher remix – is another Michael Cassette classic in the making. Showing off the producer’s versatility, the album closes on some sombre Tangerine Dream-esque electronica in the emotive ‘Funeralia’. 

Like the distant memories that inspire them, each track unravels more and more the deeper it progresses. Progressively shifting melodies dance across the speakers. Showcasing the full spectrum of the label’s diverse sounds, Anjunadeep 03 is the latest annual label collection and features 29 largely unreleased tracks that range from deep, dark and hypnotic techno sounds to upbeat, uplifting electronic house grooves.

Beginning on the lush techno of Stephen J Kroos’ ‘Micrsh’ and the beautifully brooding deep house chasms of Martin Roth’s ‘Deep Style’, Anjunadeep A&R James Grant’s CD1 mix continues to build through melodic techno and progressive textures with tracks and remixes from Underworld, Spooky, Michael Cassette, Andrew Bayer and promising newcomer, Soundprank.

On the second disc, Anjunadeep mainstay Jaytech shows off a slightly more upbeat and uplifting electronic house sound that touches on nu disco, electro and more classic house grooves and includes Jaytech’s own forthcoming anthem ‘Djembe’, as well as deep audio offerings from Solarity, Dinka, PROFF, Interplay and Maor Levi. 

To celebrate the release of this flagship release, Anjunadeep is holding a brace of transatlantic launch parties. The first will take place at the world-famous Ministry of Sound on Friday 4th February, where Jaytech and James Grant will be perform a 4 hour back2back set for The Gallery.
