Ben Böhmer releases third single “Erase” ft. avant-pop songwriter and producer lau.ra providing celestial guest vocals. It’s off his forthcoming sophomore album Begin Again, out September 24th via Anjunadeep. The entrancing, deftly-produced synth-focused track follows euphoric singles “Escalate” ft. JONAH and “Beyond Beliefs;” both of which have garnered nearly 2.5 million streams to date with the latter championed by BBC Radio 1 and SiriusXM Chill.

The Berlin-based producer and live act has had a banner year; Böhmer is officially the fastest growing electronic artist in the world on Spotify, his 2019 debut LP Breathing surpassed 50 million streams and his live streamed show for fans from a 3,000 ft. high hot air balloon overlooking Cappadocia’s honeycombed hills via Cercle (Peggy Gou, Disclosure, The Blaze) now has over 14 million views. Begin Again was inspired and written while Böhmer and his fiancé were separated on opposite sides of the globe for nine months due to the global travel ban. Spotify’s fastest-growing electronic producer (Viberate) Ben Böhmer and GRAMMY-winning multi-instrumentalist/composer Rob Moose (Bon Iver, Taylor Swift, Phoebe Bridgers, FKA Twigs) showcase their unexpected and riveting collaboration on The Apparitions EP via Anjunadeep, boasting four reworked tracks from Böhmer’s highly-acclaimed 2021 sophomore album Begin Again.

The EP marks the first artist release from Rob Moose, who contributed to 12 of Pitchfork’s top 200 albums of the last 25 years, since the Copycat Killer EP with Phoebe Bridgers in 2020, which featured his “devastating orchestral arrangements” (Pitchfork) as well as his first collaboration with an electronic producer; the result is a brain-tingling mesh of melodies and cinematic wistfulness. 

The Apparitions release follows stand-out single “Home ft. JONAH (An Apparition),” that highlights Böhmer’s elegant yet whimsical production brilliantly contrasted by Moose’s sweeping string arrangements. The track was picked as Chillest Record on Sian Eleri’s BBC Radio 1 Chillest Show last night. She says “this might be one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard”. 
On the collaboration, Moose says, “I loved getting to work with Ben and the featured singers on this project. In the beginning, we weren't sure what shape our collaboration would take, and almost as a lark, I tried muting all the album stems and building the entire structure with just strings. To my delight, Ben liked this approach, and I went deep with all the stems, studying fx artifacts and minute timings to try to translate electronic sounds onto a body of strings without losing the magical idiosyncrasies of the original work. I hope that the EP feels familiar to fans of the album, but pulls their ears and their hearts in unexpected directions.”

2021 was a stand-out year for Böhmer who was called “the new star of the world electronic scene” by Vogue UA. Boasting over 110 million streams, and a recent remix alongside A.G. Cook on  Rostam’s Changephobia Remixes: Part 2 in addition to the release of Begin Again, he won Best Live [Streamed] Act Award at the AIMs in what has been arguably the most competitive year for live-streamed performances, beating out artists such as Phoebe Bridgers, Arlo Parks, and beabadoobee. Böhmer recently announced his Worldwide album tour, selling out 95% of his dates (+35k tickets) in just two months, including the iconic Roundhouse London, the Fonda Theatre in LA, and 2x shows at Great American Music Hall San Francisco.

Anjunadeep announces a brand new remix of Ben Böhmer’s ‘Revelation’ featuring PBSR, from rising star Barry Can’t Swim.

Ben Böhmer’s sophomore album ‘Begin Again’ was released in September 2021, and has now racked up over 30 million streams and two ‘Chillest Record’ picks on Sian Eleri’s BBC Radio 1 show. In addition, alongside the album, Ben has sold out a live world tour, including dates at London’s Roundhouse, Los Angeles’ Fonda Theatre, and San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall - twice!

Joshua Mainnie, aka Barry Can’t Swim, first burst onto the dance scene in 2020, and quickly received support from Annie Mac on her Friday night BBC Radio 1 show. From there, he went on to release on Shall Not Fade and Ninja Tune’s imprint Technicolour and remix for the likes of Bob Moses and Elderbrook.

His latest offering ‘Blackpool Boulevard’ gained the stamp of approval from both Pete Tong and Danny Howard, who picked the record as their ‘Essential New Tune’ and ‘Hottest Record’ respectively. Mainnie’s creative abilities are at their best in his remix of ‘Revelation’, as he reshapes PBSR’s vocals and reinvents the understated original into an exceptionally dynamic new offering.

French duo The Blaze debut on Anjunadeep with a stunning remix of Ben Böhmer and Gordi’s ’Slow Wave’, officially launching the ‘Begin Again (Remixed)’ campaign. 

Ben Böhmer’s sophomore album ‘Begin Again’ has now amassed over 38M streams, and his fully sold-out live world tour kicked off with shows at London’s Roundhouse, Paris’ Cabaret Sauvage and Sydney’s Metro Theatre. 

The Blaze are a French duo, comprising producers, movie directors and cousins Guillaume and Jonathan Alric. They made their debut in the electronic scene in 2017 with their EP ‘Territory’, which has now been streamed over 170M times. The stunning music video the duo worked on for the EP’s title track also received the Film Craft Grand Prix at Cannes the same year. 

In 2018 they released their debut album ‘Dancehall’ which received praise from The New York Times, NME, Rolling Stone and Pitchfork to name a few, and has now accumulated over 160M streams. 

On this new remix for Ben Böhmer, the duo showcase their emotional and captivating sound, with a warm and energetic production that perfectly complements Gordi’s unique and soft vocals.

German act Rezident delivers a stunning rework of Ben Böhmer’s standout single ‘Erase’ with British singer and producer lau.ra. 

Ben Böhmer and his sophomore album ‘Begin Again’ are becoming fast favourites staple in the world of electronic music. The album has accumulated over 40m streams, and Ben has sold out all dates on his 30-date headline tour, with a total of 35,000 tickets purchased. His stellar run continues as he takes to the festival circuit this summer, appearing at renowned festivals such as Junction 2, Rock In Rio, EDC Las Vegas and îLESONIQ. 

Rezident, who has supported Ben on the European leg of his album tour, now rewords one of the most loved singles from the album.
