Following extensive support in Joris Voorn's DJ sets, it was only a matter of time before Anjunadeep champion Marsh appeared on Joris's Spectrum imprint.

Please welcome 'Little Darling', an immaculate slice of glistening progressive house that twinkles and shines with every bit of emotional weight we need after a year+ of lockdowns. Taking a rainbow of arpeggiated chords in the same way many timeless trance records did back in the day, there's a natural, and very gentle, ebb and flow that's driven by the stately kicks, bass line and cheeky flips into breakbeats and tribal percussion.

Think classic Hooj Tunes and Platipus releases but galvanised by that fresh 20s energy and feeling that a new dawn is coming closer; Marsh is soundtracking how we're all feeling right now.

Coming off the back of a run of breath-taking emotion-laden hits - 'Hi', 'Mantra' and 'Gira' - German duo, Monkey Safari, had actually crafted 'Safe' well before the world was turned upside down. 'We produced Safe as a message of unity, hope and love. When we came to release it, we realised it soundtracked our socially isolated emotions to perfection. Sharing emotions is one of our main motivations when producing music and DJing. Getting together, dancing together, smiling together.'

As we navigated the summer's choppy dancefloor waters, 'Safe' became the anthem we all anticipated. Goosebump-inducing, chill-delivering. Sunset, peaktime or sunrise. It became the soundtrack to a brighter future.

The EP’s title track sees the Belfast-born, Ibiza-based producer thread classic house piano stabs and hard-hitting percussion under Meliha’s alluring topline. The Kuala Lumpurn singer’s powerful vocals are then further accentuated in the dreamy ‘beatless' mix of ‘Headspace’. Heavy on the arpeggios and piano leads, the EP’s third track is the high-energy club-filler ‘Rise’, followed by closing piece ‘Rapido’ - an animalistic arrangement of vocal chops and gated synth lines.
