Eli & Fur are the British live act, singer-songwriter and producer duo whose career together stretches back for nearly a decade and has seen them grace the stages of the biggest festivals in the world including Tomorrowland and Glastonbury and Coachella. Whilst the pandemic has meant Eli & Fur haven’t had the chance to perform their debut album ‘Found In The Wild’ live on stage, the girls have spent the past year curating their own immersive and stunning cinematic live experience. This is Eli & Fur as you’ve never seen or heard them before, performing in their first ever live show, for their one and only live performance of 2021; a stunning intimate visual and audio extravaganza and an unforgettable conceptual experience. 

Eli & Fur present ‘Found In The Wild’ (Live) sees the girls perform material from their critically acclaimed first album, debuting their signature vocals alongside guitar, keys, synths and percussion. The album is accompanied by a live film, showing their new live show for the very first time up close and personal in an intimate and magical forest setting. The live album ‘Found In The Wild’ (Live), is out now.

Released earlier this summer on seminal electronic imprint Anjunadeep, ‘Found in The Wild’ went straight to #1 in the UK iTunes Electronic Albums Chart and garnered widespread support from BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac, Sian Eleri, Danny Howard, Arielle Free, SiriusXM and also saw them present their second mix for the coveted BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix. Mirroring the album, which is split into two parts, ‘Found In The Wild’ (Live) is staged in two halves showing the two distinct energies of Eli & Fur’s repertoire. The first half of the album ‘Found’ is a collection of song-based productions which show Eli & Fur’s strengths as songwriters, vocalists and producers in equal measure. The second half of the LP ‘In the Wild’ is a change in gear, conceptually, and ventures into the more upbeat, clubbier side of the project - exploring the girls’ penchant for emotive productions geared for the dancefloor.

‘Found In The Wild’ (Live) has been realised by a world-class team who helped create this experience and bring Eli & Fur’s vision to life. Powerhouse American electronic music promoters Insomniac are official partners of the accompanying film. The film was Directed by Liam Bream alongside Executive Producer and Commissioner, John Moule, whose previous credits include many of the world’s biggest acts including Bonobo, Nils Frahm, Jon Hopkins and Caribou.

In the two years since his last original outing on the label, the unforgettable “Beautiful Life”, Martin Roth has developed his deep hypnotic sounds on labels like Poesie Musik and Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat. He returns to Anjunadeep with “Mel / Maya”, two dark, techno influenced gems showcasing Martin’s ear for spellbinding club music.

“Mel” is a surging monster of a track, driven by huge rumbling low end beneath subtle swirling melodies. Combining dark, techy elements with classic progressive textures, “Mel” is a fine example of the current underground sound in Martin’s hometown of Berlin.

A stand out on Anjunadeep 06, “Maya” is another moody piece of house music, primed for a 4AM dancefloor. Big thudding percussion masks a gentle melody that ebbs and flows into an epic breakdown, packed full of atmospheric rising pads.

On remix duties are two emerging talents Peter Pardeike and Whomi. Tackling “Mel” is Whomi, who has made waves recently with impressive remixes of Ultraista and Soul Button. He takes a minimal approach, building from murky beginnings into an incredible crescendo throughout the breakdown. A serious dancefloor weapon in the right hands!

Following a hugely supported release on Innervisions with Marcus Worgull, fellow Berliner Peter Pardeike turns his hand to “Maya" in distinctive fashion. Stripping back to focus on bassline and piano, the track takes a leftfield turn into arpeggio territory. Another memorable moment on a highly anticipated comeback EP.

After a relatively quiet period on the production front, Dustin Nantais is back on Manual Music, and maybe even more importantly, he's back with his first new release in more than a year!

Over the last couple of years he's been churning out one quality release after another on labels such as BluFin, SexOnWax, Wide Angle, Kittball, Stripped, Natura Viva, MNL and so many others.

2018 will see him launch his own label, but to keep you syked with anticipation the Toronto based DJ and producer drops an upbeat arpeggiator driven dance floor pleaser here with 'Apathy'. The infectious bassline is sure to work like a charm, a sure crowd favorite this one!

'Apathy' is our final single release of 2017. A proper way to end this we think! But of course we always end the year with our annual Manualism compilation, so be sure to keep an eye for that one as well.

"With a growing portfolio to his name, Imran Khan returns to Proton Music. "Sunsweat" sees three sparkling original tracks continue his story with remixes from MUUI and LADS.

Originally, debuting on Particles in October 2017, a remix of LADS saw Imran Khan open his Proton Music account a year later while the "Organik" EP in August 2019 saw a spellbinding original track combine with remixes from Barry Jamieson and Silinder. Part of a triptych of original tracks, "Sunsweat" is characterised by a strong rhythmic groove and rich bassline. Building effortlessly, smooth pads and steam-powered effects add texture and depth, while a muted arpeggio meanders into a beatless breakdown to combine with an emotive lead. Rhythm and bass combine once more in the third movement as all elements create a glorious whole. "Transference" continues the strong rhythmic framework of its partner track and an intelligent bassline phrase adds depth and atmosphere. Rapid-fire percussive hats add dynamism while a wonderfully evocative piano phrase lights up the breakdown with class and maturity. Darker in tone, "Forbidden" completes a trio of original works as a pounding beat and atmospheric pad swells give off an eerie air. Shaker led percussion provides hypnotic power and percussive hits pan across the left-right spectrum with ease alongside a chorus of dramatic effects. [...]
Luc Angenehm and Deep Suite have been regulars on Particles and Proton Music since 2017. Impressive artists in their own rights, their combined forces under the LADS soubriquet saw the German and South African axis create a three-track gem in September 2017's "Miss Jean". The twin-track "Hagel" followed in May 2018 with typical fanfare before the duo returned to remix James Warren in early 2019. Now, reworking Imran Khan, the LADS interpretation of "Transference" takes the track on a gloriously crafted journey that makes full use of Khan's beautiful piano phrases. Adding layers of sound through pads and hypnotically plucked backdrop, a sublime new arpeggiated sequence hits the heights in the third movement to mesmerising effect. A strong rhythmic framework adds dancefloor character in abundance as a rolling percussive groove illustrates skill and technique. The result is a track of rare beauty.

PREMIERE: Imran Khan - Transference (LADS Remix) [Proton Music]

We are delighted to welcome the multi-talented and legendary Argentinian duo Claudio Cornejo and Gustavo Ruarte aka Analog Jungs to the hallowed halls of onedotsixtwo. These guys have been consistently delivering amazing music to labels such as Hope Recordings, The Soundgarden and Or Two Strangers to name but a few.

The pair come to us armed with two beautifully crafted melodic bangers named after the beautiful Spanish coastal city of Marbella and the glitzy Canadian metropolis of Vancouver. 

Marbella is a luscious, well-spaced track that utilises its catchy melodies and soundscapes to draw you in, all underpinned by a bouncy bassline and tight drums which propel the track forward for those early peaks as the dancefloor begins to fire. On remix duties for Marbella we’ve enlisted the globally renowned progressive maestro, Israeli producer Golan Zocher.  Golan has added some big jets to his remix raising the heat with a new lead line and all the trimmings. 

Next up is the powerful ‘Vancouver’ which is designed for those late moments of being lost in the groove and melody. On the remix OLD SQL Recordings head honcho Kandar brings his distinctly spacey and rocking elements turning this remix into a peak time slammer, guaranteed to whip you into rave sweat like its 1989.
