Belfast-based DJ and producer Richie Blacker marks his Anjunadeep debut with ‘2 Late 4 Love’. First heard on Anjunadeep 12, ‘2 Late 4 Love’ fuses deep house beats with techno synths, paying homage to the ‘90s rave scene. 

With releases on Sasha’s Last Night On Earth imprint and Skream’s Of Unsound Mind label, Richie’s robust productions have gained him reputable support from BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard and Pete Tong, and producers including Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed and Dee Montero.

Anjunadeep label favourite Tom Marshall aka Marsh returns with his first solo EP of the year, ‘Heaven’. The EP follows a landmark twelve months for the UK-born, Cincinnati-based producer, who released his debut album ‘Lailonie’ on the label last November, and which has since accumulated over ten million streams.

The ‘Heaven EP’ features three characteristically melodic club cuts including title track ‘Heaven’ and ‘Innocence’. Final track, ‘Liberator’ closes the EP on an upbeat note, and has become a sought-after ID among fans of the label since it was revealed during his sunrise live set from Natural Bridge State Park, Kentucky. This set, since its broadcast last year, has racked up over a million streams.

Franky Wah now returns with ‘Why Not Me’, his second EP on Anjunadeep, which includes the lead single ‘Bring Me Back To You‘, featuring English singer-songwriter iiola. "'Bring Me Back To You' really felt like the perfect follow up to 'Should Have Seen It Coming', lyrically, sentimentally, and also because of the message it stands for. iiola and I had been working on a few different records together but she felt like the perfect addition to this track and Anjuna also stood out as the perfect home. I know iiola actually pulled her car over to Shazam ‘Should Have Seen It Coming’ when she first heard it on BBC Radio 1 so it really feels like it’s all come full circle for the both of us," Franky says.

Canadian DJ and producer Simon Doty announces his debut album ‘Universal Language’. The ten-track LP will be released on Anjunadeep on the 28th of April 2023, with the first single ‘Soulflow’ (feat. Ursula Rucker) out today.

‘Soulflow’ sees Simon collaborate with American spoken word artist Ursula Rucker, whose thought-provoking vocals can be heard on tracks with artists including Dusky, Marquis Hawkes and Josh Wink. Combining Ursula’s vocals with stabbing chords and a driving bassline, Simon perfectly epitomises his timeless house sound that has previously earned him support from Adam Beyer, Adriatique, Gorgon City and Hot Since 82, among others.

A firm favourite among fans of the label, Simon first debuted on Anjunadeep in 2019 with his track ‘Sama’ and has since put out five stand out EPs on the label, including ‘Hometown EP’, his ‘Living Sound EP’ and most recently, his collaborative cut ‘Touch The Sky’ with Marsh, which have collectively amassed over 3 million streams and support from the likes of Pete Tong, Danny Howard, Gorgon City and Ben Malone.

Crafted for the dancefloor, Simon’s debut album ‘Universal Language’ gives the audience a chance to listen to a range of musical styles that they can expect to hear Simon play during one of his DJ sets, ranging from house to deep house to melodic techno.

The album features a range of collaborations including American spoken word artist Ursula Rucker, british duo My Friend, singer / songwriter Tailor, UK-based producer and vocalist Artche, british songstress Ruth Royall and legendary American vocalist Roland Clark as well as a remix of JODA’s hit track ‘Closer’ (feat. Robyn Sherwell).

In support of his upcoming album, Simon has recently announced phase one of his ‘Universal Language’ tour. Featuring over 30 dates, the tour kicks off in February in North and South America, before moving over to Europe and Asia. More dates will be announced later this year.

Moon Boots’ ‘Come Back Around’, featuring Cherry Glazerr, receives two remixes from Romain Garcia and Liam Fitzgerald. ‘Come Back Around’ is taken from Moon Boots’ recently released third studio album ‘Ride Away’, and has accumulated over 1.5million streams across DSPs so far, as well racking up 94 spins on SiriusXM after being playlisted on ‘Diplo’s Revolution’ and ‘BPM’. The track features the vocals of Clementine Creevy of Cherry Glazerr, a rock band championed by Pitchfork, NME and Rolling Stone to name a few.

Following his 2020 debut release, ‘Cappadocia’, a collaboration with Ben Böhmer on Cercle Records, which has accrued over 17million streams on Spotify alone, Romain Garcia has confirmed he’s “one of the key names in the current melodic house scene” (DJ Mag). His remix of ‘Come Back Around’ sees his trademark uplifting synths recontextualise Creevy’s vocals as a melodic house anthem.

The new package unites this remix with a fresh take on ‘Come Back Around’ from Mexican born and raised DJ and producer Liam Fitzgerald, who offers up a uniquely dubbed-out and percussion-laden medley.‘Come Back Around (The Remixes)’ is out May 5 on Anjunadeep.
