Here’s what Himalia had to say about his track. “Having been a fan of Deep heads for some time now, my approach to this track had to be a little different as I wanted to do myself and also the label, justice. I wanted to make something that had elements of my early influences like synkro, medschool, garagey type vibes but also retaining my sound and where I’m currently at with music.

Submorphics returns to The North Quarter with a project straight out of left field.

When not rolling out soulful D&B in The Hague, the nomadic artist recently found himself on the beaches of California and Argentina. Staring into the sea on an elevated state of mind, he strummed his guitar and wrote a series of tunes more suited for headphones and road trips than for the rave.

The result of these sessions is the hazy, psychedelic rare grooves of the Moonbeam Drive EP. Close your eyes, press play and forget all your troubles as well as reality itself!

It’s 2025. We’ve officially moved a second closer to extinction and Boylan’s wasting no time.
After years of releasing noxious missives on the most influential likes of FWD>>, Artikal,
Deep Dark & Dangerous, Sentry and Mean Streets, he finally launches his own label - Shard
View.
A brand new vehicle for the potent strain of ice cold apocalyptic breakbeat he and his closest
allies are currently making, Shard View is inspired by the vista he and the likes of Slimzee,
Trends, D.O.K, U.S.F and Youngsta see every time they’re cooking up a darkness in his
Peckham studio.
Coated in visual armor from Simon Oil Gang, Shard View is London, Detroit and Berlin
wrapped up in one. It’s bass, it’s techno, it’s tribal, it’s No U-Turn, it’s Virus, it’s Horsepower,
it’s warehouse raves. It’s timeless. And it starts with ‘Tunnel’, an extensive 10 track trip into
instrumental, full physical, heavily percussive unapologetic breakbeat music. Boylan is the
main consistency throughout but all the above-mentioned names are involved and always
will be. Like the great collectives of past bass epochs, the energy here is molten as the
friends inspire each other with this fresh take on a classic sound.
Two more EPs should follow later this year. And as the world continues to ramp up the
turbulence, so will Shard View. This is not a drill.

Fabrizio aka @breezdub is a music producer out of the countryside of Turin, north Italy with a special interest in reggae and sound system culture.

''The tracks on this EP were brought together at a later date. I was trying to create beats designed to have a Mc on them (collaborations that recently I am trying to increase). I am referring especially to “Cold1” & “Run de Ting.” Then there was “Sub Procedure.” It was envisioned as a purpose-built track for a Soundsystem. Dark sounds and deep bass. Once the tracks were brought together, it quickly became apparent how different elements actually all led toward the same journey. Wide spaces, little light, fog.... And indeed this was greatly facilitated by Konst's photographic representation, for which I am very happy and grateful.''

A true dance music pioneer, Tom Middleton has built up an impressive back catalogue over the past two decades including collaborations with the likes of Aphex Twin, Josh Wink, Adam Freehand, and notably with Mark Pritchard as Global Communication. That along with his solo prowess and memorable remixes for Kerri Chandler, Orbital, Ennio Morricone, Jon Hopkins and more have marked him out as one of the scene’s most respected artists.

2016 sees the return of Tom Middleton to Anjunadeep with a 4 track re-imagining of his 2015 club hit “HEVA”. The package features reworks from two diverse talents, Vincenzo and Geode, plus additional mixes from Tom himself including a stunning ambient production and 2-Step remix.

Both of Tom’s own EP contributions are trademark examples of his deft skill and ingenuity when reworking his own productions. Two diverse takes on an Anjuna anthem.

Next up, we welcome upcoming UK producer and Middleton’s own tipped talent, Geode, with his garage infused club roller, awash with wavering synths and quirky percussive licks.

Anjunadeep legend Vincenzo returns the favour following Tom’s much-loved 2012 remix of ’Sometimes Saturday', offering up a signature melodic rework, complimenting the spacey atmospherics of the original with a hallmark deep rolling bassline. Debuted by James Grant during his live set at Anjunadeep Miami, Vincenzo's deep house cut has already begun the rounds, a peak summer gem.
