A cover of Jan Hammer’s Miami Vice theme tune from the famous 80s TV show, Michael Cassette’s interpretation of ‘Crockett’s Theme’ takes one of the most iconic pieces of electronic music from that decade and brings it cruising into the clubs of the 2011.

Now married with a brilliant proggy tech remix from the legendary Tom Middleton, ‘Crockett’s Theme’ is set to reign supreme on the dancefloors of everywhere from Miami to Ibiza in a way it has never done before.

A producer who has dabbled in the full rainbow of electronic sound and remixed everyone from Orbital to Prince, Tom Middleton remains a unique and versatile talent in today’s electronic music scene. 

Unsurprisingly, his Cosmos mix of ‘Crockett’s Theme’ adds yet more appeal to an already universally loved anthem. Adding a hypnotic tech tweak and an instantly infectious groove, Middleton’s Cosmos Mix gives things an underground edge, before slowly swelling the speakers with the unmistakable melodies of the original for a dramatic melodic payoff. 

Completing the package, Komytea take things down a dark, throbbing techno path for a killer contrast to the other two mixes.
