BADradio #5 | Lensis | Groovy Techno Mix

@lensis è il progetto musicale creato da Francesco Giannuzzi, nato a Varese nel 1987.
La sua avventura inizia nel 2009, suonando da subito in piccoli club della provincia e poi in Festival e locali tra Varese e Milano.
I suoi dj set sono caratterizzati da suoni acid, dark, detroit, rave ed electro con influenze IDM e ambient che si sono distinti e resi noti nella zona.
Nel 2012 Francesco rilascia le sue prime uscite ‘So Acid’ e ‘Another Taunt‘ per P.T.R. ( Physical Techno Recordings ) mentre nel 2015 fonda insieme all’ amico Marco Bove l’etichetta @fluctus-soul con cui esce prima con ‘Haneke‘ EP e nel 2018 con ‘Cosmic Research‘ EP. 
Quest’ultima versione ospita il Remix da parte di G-MAN, membro dello storico duo Britannico LFO,  recensito dal magazine DJ MAG con queste parole: “una selezione di Techno galattica e energia sovralimentata con abbastanza dinamismo e fascino da portare qualsiasi party ad un piano superiore“, rilasciando successivamente un’anteprima del singolo ‘Neptune‘.
Nel 2020 Lensis ha partecipato e vinto il contest-remix del singolo ‘Blaze‘ per Marco Bailey & David Schwarz pubblicato sull’etichetta MATERIA. 
Nel 2022 ha rilasciato un nuovo EP per l’etichetta @sector-audio e Diffuse Reality Records.
Francesco inoltre collabora dal 2019 con @techclubbers come Resident DJ e co-organizzatore di eventi, a rappresentanza dei quali è passato da noi per regalarci un'ora di sana e buona musica techno,

The Athens-based DJ and producer took her path in electronic music in 2018. She co-manages #HER, dedicated to empowering gender minorities in the electronic music scene. 

As a producer she started producing music for visual art projects and trailers and released her first techno tracks and remixes on labels such as Underdub Records, OSM Tapes and Nomad Species. 

Her sets and tracks always have a story to tell; hovering among fast-paced BPMs, heavier basses and grooves, VRGN aims to create different emotional states with her work.

We came across VRGN seeing her perform at @sixdogsgr in Athens putting on a strong performance and we are happy to have her on the series. Go and enjoy one and a half hours of a proper workout by the artist.
