Making music from field recordings, the NY producer self-released his latest EP featuring appearances from Heems, Kool AD and Antwon. We asked him to take a break from making his album and get his mystical mix on for i-D. Primarily instrumental, this mixtape will more than likely invoke nightly nightmares. Hot Sugar: Music to... have nightmares to

Out February 17th, the first Donky Pitch release of 2014 sees a return to the label for https://soundcloud.com/lockah. As a prelude to his forthcoming album, 'If Loving U is Wrong, I Don't Want to Be Wrong' contains two fresh tracks that touch on classic electro, miami bass and rave whilst retaining that melody driven pop sheen that Lockah calls his own. Alongside sit two versions, stripped back takes on their respective originals loaded with tough bass hits and breaks.

As well as running his own Tuff Wax label https://soundcloud.com/lockah has released EP's on Mad Decent/Jeffreees, Mishka and last years 'Only Built 4 Neon Nites' on Donky Pitch, he collaborated with TasteTester for the Activia Benz label and has remixed Danny Brown, LiL TExAS and Jaw Jam. 2014 will see the release of his debut full length 'Yahoo or the Highway', out April 14th.

Summer's Gonna Hurt You

Swallow at the Hollow is a mix of things I made around the same time as all the Grim Reaper tracks. They kind of feel like scribbles or doodles and for some reason or another I couldn't find my way of singing with them. Some of them just stuck out like sore thumbs. I hope you enjoy them and wanted to say thanks very much for listening and thanks to those of you who came out to see the shows the past couple of years. Happy Halloween...
