„Esfinge de la Muerte”



Is an interactive music and dance performance that adapts space and audience. The performance talks about the evolution of a woman – moss, which since the moment of birth sucks in the whole evil of the world finally to become the symbol of death itself in a form of a deadly butterfly emerging from a cocoon. Nearly like a sundew lures her victim with her sex-appeal to eat it alive after the love act. The story is without a happy end, with tragic music, all that is remaining are burning flames and dust that become silent witnesses to this act. 

Anna and Marcin creating this piece are known for adapting their stage space in a weird and unconventional way. „Esfinge de la Muerte”  will have a mystical yet very direct character leaving a trace of trance and ritual to its rhythmical drum character. The perfrmance balances on the edge of sensuality, physicality and evolution where death is just the beginning…

„Tribute to Rock n Roll” is a project combining physical dance theatre and guitar driven rock and roll music. Stage production "On Edge" is a part of Rock Dance Theatre's current tour including shows "Strings n Veins" and "Crystal Meth Pie", "Snow Feld" in it's repertoire. Rock Dance Theatre production "On Edge" is a dance, music and visual fusion by choreographer and dancer Anna Achimowicz and multi instrumentalist Viktor J. Kuznetsov. One of the first Rock&Roll projects of Rock Dance Theatre, where dancers and musicians are connected to each other interactively, creating a performance hybrid with a new stage language. A dialog of two different characters, performers going thru a interesting metamorphosis together, where violin is being transformed into an electric hard rock guitar. Bodies and musical instruments are dependent from each other. Anna & Viktor reach into the history of classical music, blues and rock & roll forming a new stage reality and strong yet poetic expressive language.
