Recorded live at the Hawk & Hawthorne in Barnardsville, North Carolina in April 2021 on my birthday week with some of my best friends in the universe. Everything you hear on this project including the instrumentals is 100% improvised in the moment, on the spot, off the top. 

On this musical journey, we laid down over 3 hours of content and over the past 5 months have whittled it down to the best 20ish minutes to bring you this EP, embodying the energy of aries season - fiery, impulsive, spontaneous, adventurous, energetic, and deeply connected to the pure unfiltered joy of the inner child. We hope this project fills you with as much happiness, fun and inspiration as we had creating it.

Just Breathe is my first song.  It was born from a place of feeling creatively stuck & hopeless.  I had hired a musical mentor and producer to help move forward and spent a week with him in Paris recording.  By day 3 I still had nothing and felt I was wasting both of our time and that when the moment had come for me to step forward, I was failing.  From that place, SriKala (my producer) asked me what advice I needed to hear.  This was me answering myself, making something beautiful from the struggle I know so many artists face to get beyond pretension and share something authentic and vulnerable. 

At the end of the track you'll hear a snippet of our conversation which lead up to this creation.  I hope sharing this helps at least one other person as it continues to help me on days I forget who I am.
