Full recording of last weekend's insanely good street party in the heart of Kemptown for Gay Pride 2018. The lads were on form and we had people grooving from the first beat til the last drop. Huge thanks to Val and all at Shortt's, for the good fellas at Dance 2 for the best sound system set up we've had yet and of course to everyone who felt the love and danced their asses off. For our third show (which aired on NYC's MyHouse Radio on Monday 20th January 2020) we handed over the whole two hours to our dynamic duo and jewel in the BLD crown, Pookie Knights.

Hailing from Wrexham in Wales, Pookie Knights have been with us from the very early beginnings of Black Light Disco and are firmly part of the BLD family. To see these two play live is an experience that shouldn't be missed. Their sets are always full of raw, disco energy and that energy has translated seamlessly into their own productions. With their first release out on Spin Cat Music, it's only a matter of time before you'll see Pookie Knights topping the likes of Juno and Traxsource download charts.  

Their two hour show on MyHouse Radio was a pulsating, throbbing disco juggernaut featuring tracks from The Reflex, Chewy Rubs, Lip Ino, Ari Bald, Shit Hot Soundsystem, Stephen Richards, Dirty Channels, Tech Support plus many, many more!

Fingerman Virtual Disco From The Egg Room 24th May 2020

Welcome to Word Is Love show with what can only be described as a Disco and Funk groovin session with juicy tracks by David Lee AKA Joey Negro, The Reflex, Crazy P and Maurice Fulton plus a top selection of Disco Classics to boot! 

The show is a great mix of original disco tracks and remixes and has an uplifting vibe throughout. 

The show was recorded in Amsterdam out in Dutch nature under Dutch conditions and was meant to be the first show of a string of European dates I was set to play postponed because of Covid. The show must go on! 

All tracks are selected and mixed by @thefunkassassin with Love.
