The niece of the avant-garde artist Yayoi Kusama, Loe was born in Nagano, Japan, and surrounded by art and music from the very start. After many years of deep listening and proactive involvement in the electronic music scene, she began spinning techno records in 2005. Since then she has become a central figure in Osaka’s techno scene, carefully curating parties that have helped evolve the experience of techno in the region. Her boundary-pushing techno sets are well-known for their incredible depth and scope, patiently guiding the listener through unexplored areas of sound and experience. 

Building on her love for slow-burn development and longform layering, Loe began DJing ambient music in 2022 – and now runs the all-day ambient party SLOWMOTION with AOKI takamasa and Endurance.

Loe’s style can best be described as “storytelling through sound”, with each selection pulling the listener deeper into the journey she has prepared. This is ability to move both the bodies and minds of listeners with equal skill has been recognized more and more – with , most recently, an acclaimed appearance at FUTURE TERROR in 2023 and a contribution to the Monument mix series in spring 2024.

Since 2012, Caldera has been creating a unique and personal blend of Techno and Bass music with a love for detail and a dedicated sound design that immerses listeners into imaginary worlds.
His experiments with drums and rhythms result in grooves that represent a new and fresh way of looking at dance music while exploring a deeper side of it and leaving bpm restrictions behind.

Next up in our mix series is Kohra, a producer, DJ, and founder of Qilla Records, now based in the coastal town of Goa. The name "Kohra" (Urdu for fog/mist) captures the essence of his sound - mysterious, shapeshifting, and immersive. With releases on Spacelab, Inner Tension, Mana Abundance, and many more, his music carries a cinematic weight, drifting between the ancient and the astral. Beyond his own work - Qilla Records, founded in 2011 - has become a home for boundary-pushing artists across disciplines, recently marking its 100th release with ‘Chakravyuh’, a compilation featuring over 35 artists from across the globe, reaffirming its commitment to community and experimentation.

In this mix, Kohra offers warmth and hypnosis flowing seamlessly through spacey and rolling trance-tinged techno. It is grounded in bumpy, yet psychedelic basslines with layered textures and fluid transitions that reflect Kohra’s deep understanding of pacing and progression. True to his style, Kohra avoids the obvious in favor of nuance, drawing the listener in with a sound that’s introspective yet expansive.

One year on, I am so excited to share the recording of my set at Mo:Dem 2024, playing at The Seed stage 🌀💠🌀

My first experience of The Seed blew me away, opening new doorways in my mind and rewiring neural connections between genres and sonic sensations. Each stage at Modem @mo_dem is a universe of its own, and I felt completely at home at The Seed ~ a place for lucid dreaming and floating through the depths of space ✥

I played on Friday night from 11PM-2AM, slithering through subaquatic dubstep, spectral IDM, molten halftime and slinky psychedelic nighttime music of all shades ~

The set starts off propulsive, and as we descend into the night, the energy slowly evaporates, as The Seed shifts into a cocoon of pulsating luminescence for the late night hours. 

Thank you to @marcomental and @spekkiwebu for the invitation and inspiration. Returning to The Seed this year was equally special, it is now deeply nestled in my heart, and the recording of 2025’s set might also surface one day. But for now, I hope you enjoy this dive back to 2024 ~ three hours of psychedelic bass vibrations from the depths ✧｡⋆.

Genocide, June 2025:
Israel is only the executioner, every nation which has armed that country in the past year is an accessory to that genocide, an accomplice, a facilitator.  We cannot talk about war crimes because when you target unarmed civilians, mostly women and children, we are talking about a massacre, like terrorists do, not a war. The people who orchestrated that massacre, in the US, the most duplicitous, followed by those of the UK, Germany, France, and probably a few lesser ones should be tried for crimes against humanity just as well as Netanyahu and his cabinet, because it has been going on for two years, generously reported by media of all kinds, so the enablers knew exactly how the arms were to be used, as a tool for revenge, domination, and humiliation of the Palestinian people.  The conflict has ceased to be about the defense of anything for months.

The parties responsible have made a mockery of decency, morals, fairness, proportion, or justice, not to mention empathy.  Of what little there was, these concepts will be a lot longer to come back than they were to be struck down.

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access.  Don't be mad if I have not replied to your message in the past two years, that's because I never got them ; ) ... You can always reach me here though.

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
