Métron Musik is very proud to announce the first in our series of world music mixtapes, and we've started somewhere completely out of this world.

Eternell is one of the many monikers of Ludvig Cimbrelius, a Swedish producer who works across a range of musical genres. It is also the name of his own imprint, through which he has released many of his own works and collaborations since 2012. Ludvig has put together a beautiful, heartbreaking and yet often uplifting 80 minutes of music for us in support of his new full length album ‘Life Will Set You Free’ (click 'Buy' to purchase the album). The mix revolves around an ambient core, with all tracks coming from the Eternell back catalog. I’m immensely proud to help promote such an inspired musical mind.

BALTIC SEA

Baltic Sea was conjured up from memories growing up near Bråviken, part of the Baltic Sea. It describes the mindset of coping with the Nordic winter, on land as well though, that little glimmer of light that keeps one going. I knew the Baltic countries to have a very strong string culture and I wanted a different sound than the typical Swedish, so as soon as I got a contact through a friend studying in Vilnius I went over and recorded the strings for the album. I was very pleased, they really nailed it. Probably because of their understanding of the Baltic too.
