Anna Stereopoulou's piece EREMUS is a re-mixed (by the composer) excerpt of the music created for the same-titled Solo Dance Performance, and composed between May and October 2013, in parallel with the preparation of the event (dance rehearsals, conversations between the artists, costume – light – stage design, etc.). The piece in full-length (47min) also includes two previous compositions of Anna, titled 'mer(ure' [http://sevenmoons.bandcamp.com/track/mer-ure] and 'The String' [http://annastereo.bandcamp.com/track/sleep-gate-the-string] whereas the music was performed partly live (electronics – traditional percussion) and partly recorded (specific pre-recorded material), during the dance performances (Nov-Dec '13 & June '14).

The Opaque Fleece was composed by Anna Stereopoulou between January 17 - 18, 2015 and it was made as a response to the ZAMBEZI WOMEN Call Out [Sonic cross-cultural exchanges project / The Women Sing at Both Sides of the Zambezi archive], organized by the Radio Continental Drift. All global listeners interested to participate were asked to “choose one of the women’s voices from the archive,” -offered link (following)- “mix it with recordings of their own and send their 2-3 minutes track remix by the end of this year (2014)*, uploading it online and posting the link”. [*deadline was extended till 19th of January 2015] “The contributions will be part of an online playlist and special radio show, that we want to publish documenting and celebrating this Cross-continental Audio Correspondence.”
All multicultural rhythms and melodies of the attached piece were performed, mixed and mastered by Anna Stereopoulou, using midi-generated sounds, mixing them with the finally chosen “recorded voice” track heard, including thoughts and feelings of the writer Virginia Phiri on the (African) Drum [Voice Recording track title used: “15VirginiaPhiri-TheAfricanDrum” / Part 1 of Playlist].

'CanShell' composition by Anna Stereopoulou was released on February 5th, 2016, a day which "marks 100 years since the founding of the Cabaret Voltaire in Zurich, and thus the beginning of Dada.
To mark the occasion, Cities and Memory: Dada Sounds marks a century of Dadaism by applying the techniques and practices of Dada to field recordings from around the world, bringing a Dadaist approach to the concepts of sound, place and memory and creating a new, Dada-inspired sound world."
Composer's Note: 'CanShell' composition by Anna Stereopoulou is based on the Field Recording “Venice to Lido Ferry, Italy Maria Ponce” as selected through the Cities and Memory playlist and as a response to the Dada Sounds project /call.
The only audio material the specific composition consists of, is the above mentioned Sound, as used both in its original form (selected excerpts) and in various technically modified forms, such as Modulation, Process (Reverse, Pitch Shift, Stretch, etc.), EQ, various Filters and Effects (Delay, Chopper, etc.). The specific sound manipulations are inspired by Dada techniques [Chance, Collage /(photo)Montage, (imitation of) Automatism, and other], as well as on the Dadaists' Manifesto quote “To be against this manifesto is to be a Dadaist!” [Huelsenbeck, Richard (1892-1974); 'En Avant Dada' article, 1920]1. As a movement of protest, Dadaism triggers the need to express one of the characteristics of our times, during which we tend to loose our ability to -consciously- listen to, or create Sound, in comparison to the amount of Image information we receive on a daily basis. Within CanShell, the “anti” element is used in many forms; sound creation based on Image (Text on graphic score attached); demolition ↔ reform of the word “Dada”; cancellation /rejection of R. Huelsenbeck's quote – Against the “against” [double Strike-Through (grammar)]. These hints are also found within the title, CanShell [Cancel; Qualities (Can-) / Imprisonment (within a Can-) of a Shell (Sound)], amongst other allusions, memories and dreams, as 'woken-up' by the location of the Field Recording used in the composition.

Free Voice -original title 'anasynthesis'- was composed by Anna Stereopoulou (June 11th, 2013) for the animation, designed by Francis Etto. The work reflects both artists' solidarity with  each worker and person with a Vision and a Dream, all people fighting for their Human Rights and Resisting -against suppression, injustice, silencing and violence- with a Loud, Clear and Sincere Voice.
During the creative process which took place between Brazil and Greece, our arts were especially inspired by two social movements happening in the date mentioned above. ((( The bird sings its free voice for each soul )))
In solidarity with the employees of ERT, being censored by the Greek government and the protesters in several cities of Brazil, trying to demonstrate their refusal to accept military violence against democratic protests.
