Le Colony était un club situé rue Georges Bonnac à Bordeaux, en lieu et place de l'actuelle entrée du cinéma UGC.
Endroit totalement atypique, le Colony ouvrait de jour comme de nuit, accueillant sur sa piste de danse une clientèle adolescente la journée puis essentiellement gay dès la nuit tombée.
Le samedi 4 octobre 1986, la toute première soirée exclusivement house organisée à Bordeaux se déroula au Colony. En voici un (très) court extrait issu d'une K7 audio très abîmée de 30 ans d'âge, récemment retrouvée grâce à une ancienne adepte du lieu.  Seuls ces quelques minutes ont été récupérables...

Aux platines, c'est moi. Je débutais, j'avais 17 ans :)

A dark, post-apocalyptic track, kind of going back to my roots. It has soundscape part and then rhythmic part.
It's fun to purposely do some "bad" production (heavy compression, distortion, tons of reverb, muddy mix etc.) while it serves the piece.
Also I am pretty proud of all of the sound design.
