This piece was written for the classical composition class at the ArtEZ Conservatory Arnhem, NL. It is supposed to display the tradition of songs (romantisches Kunstlied) during early Romanticism. The text was taken from "Lyrisches Intermezzo" - a collection of 65 poems by the German writer Heinrich Heine, published in 1827 in his "Buch der Lieder".

This production is part of the "Field Of Roses" collaboration.
