This song is a collaboration between different musicians, places and cultures; an example that beautiful things can also come out of challenging circumstances. 

The lyrics, in their simplicity, draw attention to the culture of "likes" that we live in: instead of stopping to actually experience a landscape, a sunset, or another person, it's easier to take a picture of them and post it online in the hope of likes and clicks.

Sometimes inspiration strikes you at unexpected moments; this song was inspired by a line in a traditional runosong, asking how it's possible to live without meat and fish. In the old days you didn't really have a choice: nowadays it's the easiest thing. 

The melody is an old runosong. Traditional polyphony provided by the lovely Jännät.
