Anne Bonny were born in Imola (Italy) in March of 2013 as a trio, formed by: Caterina Conti (vocals and guitar); Arianna Albertazzi (drums); Francesco Ottaviano (bass); proposing covers grunge. 
In August of that year Fabio Mazzini (guitar) is added to the band and so they began writing original songs exploring new sounds (inspired by bands like Audioslave, Queen of the Stone Age, Incubus and Motorpsycho). 
In April 2014 they won "Ca'Vaina Video Contest" (by which they made the first official video of the song Beauty Lies Within) and in July "Ganesh Music Contest" that allows him to play at Indigest Festival. 
In late July 2014, Anne Bonny had a mini-tour in Germany.
In 2014 they recorded a 5 songs EP called "Anne Bonny".
