Had a studio session recently where I wrote 20 16 bar tracks at various bpm from 110 to 175, mostly 140, specifically for scratch djs / turntablists to practice on. I spent about 30 minutes or less on each track and went through a lot of different styles and vibes to give some variety for various scratching techniques and grooves. I would really like to see some videos of turntablists out there cutting through the whole set as it transforms each 16 bars! Please note since they are for scratch djs I limited the amount of mid-range / leads so there is room for people to scratch. I will likely go back and develop some of these into full songs and maybe do some collabs with fellow producer fam, and I will definitely be making more scratch loopa projects in the near future
