'F For You' (Eats Everything Remix)

Disclosure’s ‘F For You’ ft Mary J Blige is set to get an Eats Everything make-over with a remix dropping on PMR this month. The record, belonging to Disclosure's Grammy nominated album ‘Settle’, has dominated the dance charts of late and Eats serves it a slice of added groove, making for a typically inviting dance floor track. 

Both acts have recently supported one another on recent dates, with Disclosure joining Eats Everything as a special guest at his XOYO residency and in return, Eats made a special appearance at Disclosure’s Alexandra Palace gig last weekend. Having a clear fondness for each other’s work, it was only a matter of time before a remix came to fruition.  Stripped back and built around his trademark punchy house template, Eats gives the original an altogether new dimension that is sure to make waves on both the radio and in the clubs.

Eats Everything kicked off 2014 with a brand new residency series at XOYO, London, with each date comfortably selling out. Alongside pioneering the resurgence of the residency to London’s nightlife, he’s been working his way around Europe too, touring some of the very best venues on the European club circuit.

The Disclosure remix is only the tip of the iceberg when when it comes to what Eats has lined up for the rest of the year. Rounding up the last few weeks of his XOYO residency, Eats will be releasing the ‘Hello Mr. Jello' EP alongside Justin Martin on Dirtybird Records and has a Hot Natured remix forecast, as well as a very exciting mix compilation in the pipeline.

The Feels EP sees Kry Wolf demonstrate their ability to deliver quality bass-led house. The EP Kicks off with ‘Pushing Me’ - a high energy, punchy number that keeps on building on top of a fe- male vocal hook before dropping into a heavy combination of sub bass textures. Next up ‘The Feels’ - a house track encompassing piano riffs, a naughty bass line and a mezmerising vocal chop which together create the perfect club weapon. The epic productions from Full Intention just keep rolling. Following up on their last production on Defected, ‘Keeping Pushing’, which climbed to #1 in the Traxsource chart as well as a remix on the recent Fourth Floor re-release Black Riot ‘A Day In The Life’, Michael Gray and Jon Pearn can do no wrong. 

Originally released in 2001 on Defected, ‘Love Is Not A Game’ by J Majik now gets the Full Intention treatment, alongside a rare drum and bass diversion from Defected by Mr Majik himself. The undeniable strengths of the original ‘Love Is Not A Game’ shine through in these remixes while its basic core elements have been turned on their head. Kathy Brown’s commanding voice soars while the original minimal drum and bass bottom line is switched up for a classic Full Intention house-inclined 4/4. On the flip side is J Majik with his stripped-back drum and bass version, which has all the same pace from his Metalheadz days and a suitably souped-up, rolling bassline.
