As a survivor of desertion by both parents Emmanuel “Mannie” Douglas Rivers composes and produces music that soothes the pains stemming from childhood trauma. Emmanuel makes good use of binaural tones to increase relaxation and ease suffering. Like many artists, Emmanuel is a highly sensitive person. 

Pascht P'tah Maleka, his small tortie cat, helps Emmanuel gather perspective, loosen up, and focus on the small joys that matter most in life.

In addition to music, Emmanuel has cultivated a love for photography, design, and tiny houses. He and his wife designed and built a tiny house in their backyard. 

During the day, Emmanuel teaches drama to neurotypical and neurodiverse* students in inclusive, individualized classroom settings.
