I re-wrote some of the lyrics to this song to fit a woman's perspective because I love it. I had to use a backing track because I don't have a band, which is why the backing vocals sometimes do not match my own.

Home-made demo/cover of "My Best Friend's Girl" by The Cars, with minor alterations to the lyrics. I played one guitar part, but the rest of the instruments were from a karaoke track. All voices heard on this recording are mine.

My Best Friend's Guy

Cover of "You're Going to Lose That Girl" by The Beatles, with minor lyrical changes. The song has been transposed up a half step. I sang along to a backing track and then added my own guitar playing later, but it's pretty deep into the mix, as the guitar was not featured prominently on the original Beatles recording. All vocals were performed by me. The guitar I used is a Squier Stratocaster by Fender.

I can't guarantee any specific theme here, but I can tell you that all of my best recordings tend to get yanked down for copyright reasons so at least enjoy them while they're still here!
