Fresh n' inspired after their Italy vacay, Avec Paisir Records founders and Isterika friends Frinda di Lanco and Hendrik Stein take us on eclectic journey through the sounds of cosmic, disco, tribal, dreamy house and leftfield electronic influences.

Their contribution to the series is a follow up of their trip to Sofia for our party not so long ago when we got to spend some quiality time together, exchange good nrg and enjoy countless hours of good music. <:

Almost 6 years ago Frinda Di Lanco and Hendrik Stein met in a small, fumy bar in Berlin Kreuzberg, where one was playing records and the other one danced. While the AOR and Balearic-aficionado Hendrik ran the infamous Disco Train with Charlie Smooth at Crack Bellmer, Frinda was regularly spinning records at Cafe Wendel, defining herself as a record collector with a deep knowledge of Funk, Soul and Jazz.
Since 2018 the couple can be found as a DJ duo with a deep love for obscure vinyl records. Their sets are a vibrant mixture ranging from cosmic, disco, Italo, new beat, proto house and they will never fail to surprise their audience with some unexpected NDW, Schlager or other treasures from all over the world.

You can find their traces at Berlin’s Heideglühen, where they appeared straight from a sweat-inducing match on the tennis court at 10 in the morning or at Krakow’s Spitalna 1, where they emptied the main floor and kept the whole crowd dancing on a small side-floor to a myth-enshrouded 135bpm cosmic disco set. In 2020 they founded their Record Label "Avec Paisir" and re-released an enchanting collection of Austrian Cosmic Tracks from the 90ies. The second Release is just in the making and will be another example for their love to the unpredictable and eclecticism.

One of the things that we love the most from the beloved berliner underground is the huge quantity of unknown/underrated djs that scene provides. The ones we decided to move here we always get surprised about dj's that one can see at the most filthy and infamous venues, being not strcktly necessary to go to Panorama Bar to see a nice set.

We introduce you this month to EXOTIKA, good friend and great selector. Joan Bernat the guy behind the name, is one of those obsessed diggers that are always in the search of the perfect beat and the warmest vibe. Balearic, downtempo, protohouse and everything in between is the leitmotif of the catalonian dj.

Member of the amazing collective "Ceremony", one of the hottest underground parties in Berlin, along with Nirel Nica, Llupe and Rafa (who already signed an MM Cast last year)

Dans ce studio transitoire, orienté vers des univers phoniques non-dansants, nous recevrons sur six dates invité.e.s et résident.e.s pour des sessions exploratoires à écouter assis.

La Méridienne entend mêler, quelques après-midi durant, lumière zénithale et poésie sonore. Les sélections de nos convives, ouvertes au public, seront retransmises en direct sur nos ondes depuis les toits puis disponibles à la réécoute. Amateurs et amatrices d’ambiances lancinantes et de rythmes voluptueux, la Méridienne s’ouvre au grand jour le 3 juillet.

[EN] Radio Sofa sets its Méridienne on the roof of the Point Ephémère for a summer radio residency. In this transitory studio, oriented towards non-dancing phonic universes, we will receive guests and residents for exploratory sessions to be listened to sitting down.

La Méridienne intends to mix zenithal light and sonic poetry for a few afternoons. The selections of our guests will be open to public and broadcast live on our airwaves from the rooftop. Lovers of haunting atmospheres and voluptuous rhythms, La Méridienne opens on the 3d of July.

' Zozo is a music curator, collector and radio host from Istanbul, known for experimenting at the fringes of dance music. One way or another, she has grown to be one of the most outstanding selector DJs in her country. Following the motto ‘life is hard but music is good’ since an early age, she has a seasoned character and deep understanding of the dynamics of the dancefloor, with which she communicates with empathy. That has kept her busy on the weekends: she has brought her versatile taste to iconic dance floors as Panorama Bar, Contact Tokyo, Primavera Festival, De School, Ankali Prague, Robert Johnson or Salon des Amateurs. She is also a regular in high-rated festivals as Berlin Atonal, Waking Life, Lente Kabinet, Flow Festival, Strange Sounds From Beyond, Dekmantel and its Selectors offshoot.

She's also a part of the Lyon based label & dj crew Macadam Mambo and resident of Berlin institution Sameheads. Also a member of electronic music and art collective ‘Les Belles De Nuit’ founded in Zurich, supporting women and queer artists.
