Fátima, a DJ, producer, and co-founder of the Sisters in Sound collective, is on a mission to diversify the music scene. Born in Mexico and now based in the US, she began her DJing journey in 2017, driven by a passion for amplifying underrepresented voices. Over the past six years, she has toured internationally, sharing her distinctive blend of driving, earthy beats and bold genres, ranging from world music to indie dance. Her performances have graced iconic cities such as Berlin, New York, San Francisco, Washington D.C., Mexico City, Puerto Vallarta, and Oaxaca.

In addition to her dynamic DJ career, Fátima leads Sisters in Sound, a collective dedicated to empowering emerging women and nonbinary artists in the music industry. The collective hosts panels, workshops, and live streams, providing a platform for skill-building and networking. Fátima's music is deeply rooted in her cultural heritage, with tracks that pay homage to Mexican culture and icons like Peso Pluma and Maria Félix.
