Death Follows Him

We, Anodyne, are a Progressive Metal band from Pune, India. It is difficult to explain exactly what kind of music we play. We'd like to loosely classify it as Progressive. 
Our music is an interpretation of the classical Indian scales, only incorporated in traditional Heavy Metal. We lay a lot of stress on melody, and hence try to create the perfect harmony between tight, Heavy metal influenced riffs, and the Progressive Rock influenced acoustic melodic sections and interludes. We draw influences from a variety of sources, ranging all the way from Progressive Death Metal, to Classical Indian music. And hence, our usage of both clean and harsh vocals, fast riffs and solos, as well as slower melodic "feel" sections.
