For our third chapter in the Orbita mix series we are pleased to present this gem by Martyn Päsch.

I met Vinsen several months ago on a vibrant dance floor in Amsterdam, where our shared love for music instantly connected us. During our breaks from the exhilarating music marathon, we delved into conversations about his unique approach to DJing, leaving me eager to experience his musical creations. When I finally had the chance to listen to his mixes upon arriving in NYC, I was thrilled to discover another DJ who takes this craft seriously and pays careful attention to every detail.

Vinsen's mixes are a pure delight, as they seamlessly weave together a carefully curated selection of tracks, forming cohesive and mesmerizing musical tales. The mix he has crafted for us is no exception. Beginning with a mystic and captivating intro by Cologne Tape, the mix gradually unfolds, immersing the listener in a compelling sound journey. With the inclusion of misty Scandinavian morning sounds by Toffes Värld, Vinsen ensures that the attention of his audience remains captivated throughout the entire mix.

2023 has been a positive year for Glasgow based Fernie delivering EP’s for respected outlets Informa, KVLTÖ and BAHN with more on the way before year end.  His mix sessions focus on deep and lush atmospheres with a path to deliver a journey for the listener.

In parallel to his own works his Space Textures imprint continues to push deep techno to great effect working with artists from across the globe and he curates the acclaimed Monument Podcast for the Norway based collective.

Debuting his lunar convoy alias in 2015, Souleiman has since carved his own path in the Brussels scene, with a very recent switch to his real first name.

The French artist is blazing an uncompromising trail, with a precise, infallible signature that's at once minimalist, mental and multi-genre, combining the qualities of a high-flying digger with a seasoned mastery of the turntables and a deep sense of narrative.

While co-running the deep techno imprint NORITE (with Foreign Material), he launched his own experimental label called efja, alongside a monthly residency at Kiosk Radio.

This mix was recorded at the Metropolis party back in October 2023, where Souleiman is also a resident DJ, playing the closing slot after Konduku and Sonhan.

On Thursday the 21st of November 2024, come celebrate the pulsating heritage of Rotterdam’s Reclaim Your City at Saüle. Part of a new event series focussed on styles skirting what is widely embraced as ’techno music’, this first airdrop of the RYC squad promises to be a satisfying moment for all lovers of bold, boundary-pushing electronics. Clad in the austere industrial atmosphere of Berghain’s experimental-oriented subdivision, Saüle, the event gathers voices from distinct geographies and segments of the electronic music scene. From British master and seminal ‘Lost’ nights founder Steve Bicknell, who will blow the winds of dubstep across Saüle’s monster sound system, to Detroit-based deck whiz Erika who will get the heart of the Motown throbbing at the pace of its legendary electro scene, to London jockey and producer Cressida, representing the more alternative confines of the techno-adjacent sonics, from proper UK sound - understand jungle and grime, to techno itself, beware the torrential cascade of roaring machines and sine waves-spoken thunder firing on all cylinders.
