Symbiotik - First After Summer 9.2

A love of the harder sounds of techno was born after discovering warehouse rave and squat parties in 2015. Since then, a passion arose within to spread the joy of hard industrial techno and schranz and in 2019, the project of INFERI was born.

INFERI’S techno brings a punch and does not slow the fuck down. Recently, she has discovered a love for of the darker and industrial sounds of hard techno and crafts a high energy mix with sinister elements.

Inferi also DJs dark psytrance under the name 'SECTUMSEMPRA'. Whichever flavour you choose, Inferi aims to captivate the audience into focusing on the darker and more intense elements of their psyche or to complete loose themselves into the chaos of the dance floor.

Introducing our next Sister of Sound - SHELL SHOCK

Shell Shock (she/her) is a DJ, party host and event curator who loves disco, house, techno and throwback tunes. She has played venues around Naarm including My Aeon, Evie's Disco Diner, Killing Time, Black Magic Bar, Radio Bar and live on KISS FM. Shell Shock’s sets are emotional journeys full of heart, energy and playfulness. She also runs events and plays disco weddings.

This mix – created especially for Sisters of Sound – explores what Shell Shock is all about: funky basslines, playful sassiness and banging beats. It’s a climactic journey through soulful house, thumping tech house and groovy techno - with some remixes of some familiar classics thrown in just for fun.

Resident DJ of the German music label Glitchy.Tonic.Records. During his time on the label he released three compilations: Hypno.Tembr and Fractal Tales (1,2), which includes tracks of the world-famous trance musicians.

His work on the label has not gone unnoticed and Dmitry is now also signed in English-Australian label Insonitus records.

Having a lot of fellow musicians/DJs around the world and supporting music labels ensures that Asygen always has unheard and unreleased tracks for his performances.

In addition to trance music he collects vinyl techno records of a deep and hypnotic sound. Organizer, DJ of Te4enie - techno parties in Moscow Region.

Co-Founder of Touched music - promo group who oriented on hypnotic techno parties with known artists from the labels: Semantica, PoleGroup, Midgar, The Gods Planet, Hypnus and etc.

As a DJ he played in the Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, India, regularly performs in Russia.

For this 7th retrospective mix in the Transmissions series the focus is deep, driving, and emotive trance with occasional forays into techno, IDM, and breaks, all released between 1992 and 1997. Expect some well-worn classics as well as hidden gems, all carefully chosen to capture the carefree optimism of that vanished era.
