Very good compoisition with some nice sounds. What I miss is little magic sparkle added to those sounds in mix. Maybe it is what you wanted but for me its sounds like chiptune and it takes away that interesting composiiton. Tension and mood is scattered by nintendo sound.

A lot of the energy was lost after the build and it could maybe have gone straight to this part.

Well, another good piece of electronica! That was a nice trip! Great sound design and composition. The mix is pretty good, it doesn't need to be super punchy and bass heavy in this genre. What it actually needs in my opinion, is a main riff/pattern/melody that will carry the whole theme and make it memorable. Besides, it is very good production. GL!
