This is a guitar solo I submitted for a competition provided by Indaba Music and The Darkness. Any comments are welcome.

Darkness- "Everybody Have A Good Time" Guitar Solo

It's a faculty Jazz recital and I thought this was one of the cooler songs in the set.  There were only 3 mics on the drums so i enjoyed the challenge of mixing without the entire kit direct mic'ed. The drums are slamming and the drummer is excellent.  My advisor in college on bass is Jorge Casas.

I think this is a great song. The dobro is great, and the lyrics tell a intriguing story. The guitar sound is great and the arrangement is perfect with dobro fills in just the right place. The guys know how to write songs.  My friend Chris Bonney recorded this at our Studio A at Greenville College.

R-F-T product line, along side some faithful industry standard microphones. This song is retro-acoustic with country overtones by our standards, featuring exclusively acoustic instruments (no electric guitars or amps) and a radio ready arrangement.
