The term ‘track of the summer’ tends to be thrown around a lot nowadays, but it’s safe to say that its use for this record is most certainly warranted as No Art founders ANOTR bring one of their most-requested IDs ever to the label just in time to soundtrack those late summer months. With the vocal hook, “Lil’ Mama spend some time with me?” already sung by sell-out crowds across the globe, and early fans ranging from BBC Radio 1 royalty Pete Tong to UK house legend Mr. G, and Masters at Work's finest, Louie Vega. It’s no surprise that the anticipation has had thousands talking for months on end.

Leicester-based duo Murphy’s Law collaborate with London producer Guy Mac for ‘PASSION’, a bouncy DFTD release set to do major club damage. Comprised of brothers Sonny and Finn Murphy, Murphy’s Law have spent over a decade refining their eclectic, groovy mix of house, techno and soul, earning them support from major tastemakers Jamie Jones and Joseph Capriati and extensive airplay on BBC Radio 1. Derby-based DJ duo Deltech have been going from strength to strength since their formation in 2019, carving out their underground sound through standout releases on Sola, CUFF, and Nervous Records, amongst others, earning multiple Beatport number #1’s in the process. With a busy start to the year behind them, securing a first appearance on Lee Foss’ South Of Saturn and garnering support from industry heavyweights such as Solardo, Nic Fanciulli, and Joseph Capriati, the dynamic duo now bring their fresh house sounds to Jamie Jones and Foss’ iconic Hot Creations with two scorching tracks that are sure to whip up a frenzy. 

“Releasing with Hot Creations has been our number one goal since we started our journey. This is a huge milestone in our career, and we can’t thank Jamie enough for believing in our sound. The inspiration for this track came from listening to old-school organ house music, which we love, but with our own ‘Deltech’ twist.” - Deltech. 

A highlight from Jamies Jones and Loco Dice’s recent b2b set at Club Space, ‘I Don’t Need That’, heads up the package with rumbling low-ends and shuffling beats driven by catchy female vocals that bring an undeniable groove to the track. Closing out, ‘Making Moves’ delves into late-night territories with choppy bass hits, rolling percussion and robust house rhythms.

Deltech - I Don't Need That

While Iner's Dobro label has released a number of full-length projects, the majority have been compilations. This, then - a debut LP from Russian producer Stogov, known primarily for blending deep house and jazz in different ways - is a significant release for DOBRO. It's also rather good. Stogov begins by peppering a thickset deep house groove with attractive female vocalisations and fluid jazz guitars ('Imagine'), before opting for loose-limbed jazz breaks, bouncy house beats and Todd Edwards style sample cut-ups on 'Smooth Turn'. Deeper, drowsier and more garage-house leaning vibes are the order of the day on 'Everybody', 'Y're Free' is a classic-sounding slab of thickset US deep house headiness, 'Comeback' is woozy, skippy and delightful, and closing cut 'Shine' sounds like a tooled-up take on 'Boulevard'-era St Germain.
