Max Chapman joins TBX Records with a standout tune called 'Bethany.' The track's low-end is tight and upbeat, with beautiful chords that roll around the bassline. Jamie Jones, the world-renowned DJ/producer, label boss of seminal imprint Hot Creations and member of the cross-genre band Hot Natured, launches a new label project this March as he adds a musical side to his longstanding Paradise event series by welcoming Los Angeles’ Dateless for the imprint’s first release.

Building on the lauded success of the brand’s iconic Ibiza events at DC10 and Amnesia, plus shows across the globe and throughout Miami Music Week, ADE and Sonar OFF Week, the label looks set to showcase Jones’ early musical influences and the music behind the party’s roots, while unveiling a glimpse into its future with records made for iconic moments.

Speaking on the concept, Jones notes, “People sometimes ask me why I called the Paradise parties, Paradise… Well, it was named after the Paradise Garage. I’ve always dreamt of what it would be like to attend one of Larry Levan’s famous parties. And when the opportunity to do a party in Ibiza came along, I envisioned an eclectic, colourful party as the morning sun came up filled with different types of people. No one caring about anything except for the unity, the vibe and the journey of the music”.

He adds, “With Paradise records, I wanted to go back to the original vision and release records that can be played in those special moments when the vibe is thick, and the energy is right”.

The first release comes from rising US talent Dateless, following releases via Jones’ own Hot Creations and Hottrax imprints alongside Solid Grooves, VIVa, Saved and his own label Thanks For Sending, as he unveils the vibrant sounds of ‘Geekin’.

‘Geekin’ (my story in a nutshell, if you will) comes from the feeling of necessity. I found myself unmoved by the general house scene, so I started listening closer than ever to the house music that still moved me. One of the artists that helped elevate my craft at the time was Toman; maybe we’ll be friends after this. What do you think, Toman!? Haha. I’m sure those who know me can feel my personality come out in this record. Whatchu know ‘bout this? Huh!” - Dateless.

A funk-fuelled cut combining resonant bass licks, shuffling organic drums and signature hooky vocals, ‘Geekin’ unveils a melting pot of house and disco influences, both new and old, providing visions of sun-soaked terraces and bustling dancefloors.

Dateless ‘Geekin’ drops via Paradise on 3rd March 2023.

This time with a staggering 10 track list, with some of the best and most promising artists in the scene, elrow Music has upped up the ante with this amazing collection of songs. Names as DJ Fronter, Manu Gonzalez and Shaf Husee, Miguel Lobo or Anabel Sigel are just a few examples of the huge talent we have scouted for you, our dearest crowd! Opening up this 2019 instalation of our Off Ibiza compilation, we have our good friends Alaia & Gallo with their 'Check It Out (Original Mix)', a true tech-house affair, with a nice vibe to open up with positive energies. Later on, we have DJ Fronter's 'Chitown (Original Mix)', which change the vibe completely, slowing down and demonstrating with his staple minimalism, that things can be done in a different way in this genre.

Just after it, we have Manu Gonzalez & Shaf Huse's 'Yollow (Original Mix)', in which the team manages to create a progressive and deep vibe throughout the track, breaking into a total soulful madness thanks to those great female vocals, FX and melody treatment. Then, another big Spanish promise, Miguel Lobo, steps up with his 'Change Position (Original Mix)', a track that brings us back to the early 90s progressive sounds, with some acid treatment and a sexy vocal that sets the mood of the track. Finally, closing the comp, we have Anabel Sigel's 'Miss Wallace (Original Mix)', a track in which the Spanish newfound jewel unleashes all her production skills into a real banger, taking her time to build momentum in the track, with great care for detail overall.
