Rising Electronic prodigy, Ben Hemsley makes his debut on Stress Records with trance-inducing anthem, ‘Bebé Música’.

The Newcastle-born DJ has a flair for effortlessly blending old school rave nostalgia with fresh flavours, driven by strong melodies. ‘Bebé Música’ is no exception to this with otherworldly, ethereal vocals floating above the track’s pumping kicks and trancey pads. Born out of a lockdown night when their usual Saturday night plans were off limits, Defected regular Darius Syrossian and South Records boss George Smeddles decided to cook something up for the anticipated return to the club. With just a vocal to work with, they decided to produce something with the 90s, uplifting vibe dancefloors would be needing. Demonstrating the same addictive, dancefloor-ready grooves seen on their previous collabs like ‘Get Toast’ and ‘Blood Orange’, this latest joint venture once again delivers the heat. With its deep organ bassline, playful keys and irresistible 4/4 swing, this record oozes club appeal in a way you can only expect from producers rooted firmly in the scene. It sure feels good to be Back In The Dance.

Italian duo Len Vitz and Charlie Iapicone debut on Hot Creations with ‘Playhouse’, backed by a remix from  Cologne favourite Kolter.  

Featuring as two young talents rising from the Italian house scene, Len Vitz and Charlie Iapicone are gearing up  for their biggest release to date following a series of EPs across recent years. Joining forces for the first time to  rework Ann Peebles’ 1972 soul hit ‘I’m Gonna Tear Your Playhouse Down’, they debut on Hot Creations with their  collaboration ‘Playhouse’ - backed by a stellar remix from Cologne-based DJ/producer and label boss, Kolter. 

“The EP was born by chance, an experiment which turned out successful. It’s a mixture of sounds and  recordings accompanied by a taste of vintage soul music.” - Len Vitz.  

Harnessing the original production’s resonant vocals and funk-fuelled riffs, ‘Playhouse’ brings a 70’s classic to  modern dancefloors as slick drums and slinking bass grooves reveal a track made for memorable moments. On  the flip, Kolter’s remix brings an additional slice of vigour and energy as he utilises signature chords and skippy  percussion to shape up proceedings.
