Pareidolia is a type of apophenia involving the perception of images or sounds in random stimuli, for example, hearing a ringing phone while taking a shower. The noise produced by the running water gives a background from which the brain perceives there to be patterned sound of a ringing phone.

This is the recording of a totally improvised hardware live performance. Nothing is prepared beforehand. You can hear the music being created and destroyed as it's happening and that was as exciting for me as it is for the audience. 

This is a very risky way to perform. 
As I step up to play I have nothing, I have to create the music there in that moment. The audience is participating in that risk and that adds to the energy and creates a unique atmosphere and sense of excitement. Understanding the technicalities of the machines I'm using is not important. What is important is the energy of music being created right there in that moment. That creates a far deeper connection between myself and the audience than I've ever experience with playing back pre recorded music.
