Estonian ensemble Rüüt represents new and diverse folk music by offering a fresh take on the search for its essence. Their thorough and meticulous arrangements are based on runo songs and old instrumental tunes. At the same time, their repertoire has new compositions that reflect musical influences from different countries.

In Rüüt, the backgrounds of an actress, a jazz musician and two Estonian diatonic accordion players meet. Through the collaboration within the group, different sounds and musical styles are merged to create something new and unique. Rüüt is for folk music lovers, for people interested in technical arrangements and for those who enjoy travelling among aery musical landscapes.
